I arrived about 40 minutes early, so I did my little 0.9 loop, for 8 km just this morning. She's at peace with it and she's been losing her sight to the point she can't read or knit anymore, which was her joy in life. I think she's glad to go and that it will be fairly quick. Also, it's the grandmother who said I should go ahead and kill myself when I was 15. She said that to my then 19 year old brother while I was eavesdropping. So, I'm not feeling too sad. It's just that it's family business and it needs to be taken care of. On another note, my sister went and outed me to her (rainbow girl, if you recall). Grandma has no problem with it, or so she says, but I feel mightily annoyed that my sister went over my head like that. Maybe I'm overreacting, but I feel it wasn't her place to tell. I don't know if I should confront her about it, considering how well our last conversation went (long story). She reminds me of my grandma actually. I hardly ever call either of them for some reason... Sorry about the rant. I sent her an e-mail protesting her actions. 100$ says she won't be sorry and she'll lecture me. She accused me of being a redneck because I like guns. She had no idea what the slur redneck meant exactly, and after I explained it to her, she used it again at the end of the evening, meaning to be in jest and she chided me for getting offended. I told her to go f*** herself and she said 'see? I can have a discussoin without resorting to verbal violence'. Apparently slinging slurs is not verbal violence. The worst was "It's up to you to be offended or n ot". Turning it into some sort of roasting of the other person is definitely not a real apology. It's something that I hate about myself that I'm working on. I'm too proud...
