Basement Cat Posted August 24, 2014 Author Report Share Posted August 24, 2014 Phew! I just finished a set of that yoga routine up there. It took about 50 minutes to do it, including transition between poses (ie wiping off the sweat), so about 45 minutes of actual yoga. It feels really good though. I think I'm in love. Oh, and people who say yoga is not real exercise are idiots! Man that was hard, especially the last few poses. I held the poses for two minutes for the 'single ones' and 1 minute each side for those that alternate. The standing back bend was murder. I did 2 sets of 30 seconds. It's all I could manage. I find that it's definitely necessary long-term esp. when doing other exercises, otherwise I find that without yoga, I lose stamina... Oh yeah, my grand mother passed away. It was very quick, she didn't suffer and both her children were with her when it happened. She's at peace now. It was her mom after all. I'm keeping myself busy until Dragon Age:Inquisition comes out. I've actually started to write fanfiction again. It feels weird to get back to writing. After relapsing on everything (yes, even smoking) and undoing almost all of my hard work, I'm back to do this for reals. So, I'll start by fixing the food issue first and foremost. Gotta go get some milk and yogurt. Shakes are easy and combat my lazy side. I will reintegrate exercise later.
