One day to go this week, how is it going?

Pretty much just beeeeeh....

 

WEEK TWO

 

M - Iron met goals

 

T - Study >30 min, Protein and Iron met goals

 

W - less than 3 h internet

 

THR -Yoga

 

F - protein met goals

 

S - >30 min study, less than 3 h internet

 

S -BBWW, >30 min study

 

Bear: Just 1 Wo this week.... I just let it slip. Will work out more next week!

Cat: Same as bear.

Tree: both parameters just 2 times met... okay, but can definitely do better. Like last week...

Owl: study met the goal this time, internet is 60%

 

It kind of looks like I can do either exercise and food or study very well and meet all the goals.

If so I'd concentrate on study first because I still have two deadlines.

 

I'll try to be in the internet for less than 3 h today too.

 

 

Goal for next week:

Keep study like this and do at least 2 of each workout!

I know the problem with not being able to meet all of the goals. Thats why I always choose 3 goals from the same area. But even then... Last challenge was all about eating better. This challenge I'm full of sweet processed stuff. Maybe we have adjust to CHANGE itself first?

I was looking at that challenge earlier today! :) It seems like a good routine builder!

Yeah, but somehow it seams incomplete because of no arm or core excercise. Kinda weird....

 

Know the feeling of having a off week, but hang in there and like Eve said, 4 more weeks to go!

Remember you´re still on the right track, but perhaps not at the speed you want :)

I'm on track as log as we don't play tack :P

Somehow I'm no fan of Rule No.1:Cardio *grin*

 

I know the problem with not being able to meet all of the goals. Thats why I always choose 3 goals from the same area. But even then... Last challenge was all about eating better. This challenge I'm full of sweet processed stuff. Maybe we have adjust to CHANGE itself first? 

I know, it's so frustrating, right? In my prep challenge I did yoga every day and felt great.

Now I slop on doing yoga and feel just bleh, but have a hard time sheduling it. If I don't make it part of my challenge it would just be forgotten and that would be bad for my overall feeling.

That's part of the reason why my goals look so overloaded, I want to keep the good stuff in to be accountable and add new stuff in to balance life and workouts.

And find the right WO for me.... I'M still searching it.

Today is strenght again.... go for bear form!

 

Since sunday was just legs and glutes I do arms and a little chest today.

Let's see if spilt days are more my thing than whole body workouts.

 

I'm doing the excercises from this infografic but instead of the last one I do chest press on a ball.

Weights:  2 x 1,5 kg plastic dumbbells

Sets: 3

Reps:

triceps kickbacks 10/10/10

biceps curls and front press 10/10/10

90 degree raise 10/10(hard)/10(hard)

standing shoulder fly 10/10(hard)/10 (hard)

chest press 10/ 10 (last one hard)/10 (all okay)

 

I think I could use heavier weights on kickbacks, curls and press and chest press, but I don't have any heavier weights and have no money for a gym membership :(

I think I could use heavier weights on kickbacks, curls and press and chest press, but I don't have any heavier weights and have no money for a gym membership :(

 

That would be a problem. :/ Maybe you should look for more exercises using only bodyweight instead? That way the exercises won't feel too easy and you won't have to pay for a gym membership.

Do you have a pull-up bar? I actually enjoyed this routine of El Diablo. It has nice progressions, is a bodyweight routine and does not take too much time.

I have the same problem with yoga, if it's not in my challenge, I don't do it. Maybe you can start with the 30-day challenge again? The poses are hard enough that it is still useful and it is a clear, easy to follow program. It also takes only 10-20 minutes a day.

Do you have a pull-up bar?

I want one but my bf won't let me have one because he thinks it's insecure. He doesn't trust the construction ( sometime he tends to be a liiiiiiittle paranoid ;) )but he's just worried about me so it's kind of annoying and sweet at the same time.

One of my acchievements would be doing pullups!

 

@Leothil I find bodyweight workout a little... annoying? Hard to master? I always have to force myself to do them... so I tried if weights would be something I enjoy and am passionate about.

But till my financial situation changes I have to stick to bodyweight workouts.

Maybe trow some blogilates in here.

Maybe you could just increase the difficulty of the exercises to make it harder? There's tons of variations on the web that could be helpful. :)

I injured my left shoulder ... AND I HAVE NO FREAKING CLUE HOW I DID IT!

Fact is.... I can't lift my arm above shoulder level....

Ouch - hope the arm gets better.  It's really easy to injure the rotator cuff and have no idea how you did it.  See the doctor if you have bruising or if the arm isn't better by now.
