I've been pestering spousal unit about a return to Boston.  There was not enough time with some of you.

I'm working out the finer details. Length, execution details, etc. I'll probably just start it Monday.

I've been pestering spousal unit about a return to Boston. There was not enough time with some of you.

I wanna go back to Boston too. It was my only time and I'd like to see more than Boston ruck at night. Lol. My friends and I were supposed to, but then Chicago ruck happened.

Speaking of, we need to ruck again together. This year will be right, so maybe we should pick a spring ruck...

When is Chicago ruck happening? Are you flying or driving? Are you driving right by me?

The ruck is September 12th. I'm driving down with friends, and probably right past you, but we're doing an overnight drive. My friends and I are leaving Toronto at midnightish so no hanging out with Detroit nerds then.

We should totally book a weekend and get the Mirs involved...

Tonight is going to be day 1/180 for the PhD.

"Rules" as follows:

Pullups. Hanging leg raises. Dips. No substitutions.

Day 1 -10: 10 reps of each.

Day 11-180: 1 rep more than the day before.

No missing days. Miss a day, start back at 1...

How do you like the S4? I'm on an S2, but my contract is up later this year....

Love it. A lot.

In fairness, I've had the s2, s3, ace iix, and the captivate glide. The whole reason I didn't get an s4 when I got my Xperia was cause I wanted the better camera.

Today's overhead press day. There'll definitely be some bartle giggling.

I love dead lifting and I love rowing. And even though I deloaded both, yesterday's workout was pretty intense.

1) the lat activation was phenomenal, so I can get some work rebuilding some apparently lost strength and kill the rounding of the upper back a little.

2) I was able to pull the triple at 250 double overhand for the first time ever. I've previously only been good for a single.

3) the 280 went up super easy.

4) unrelated to the last three, but my weight this morning was 174.9. I'm 3lbs away from my before sick weight, which puts me ~2 lbs heavier than Boston.

My S4 has the shittiest battery life, but other than that, it's a beautiful phoooone.

ok maybe I don't remember. I did either 3 or 4 sets of either 8 or 10 reps, and I did them at either 70 or 75 lbs. I don't remember if it was yesterday's session where I added the 5lb thingie onto the weight stack.

So I've been having trouble with getting this posted. This was Saturday's workout and it didn't post then, or yesterday. Fucking Tapatalk.

For all those wondering, today will be day 2 of the PhD. I have a PhD in not getting shit done.
