Main Quest: Get down to 13% body fat.*

 

How are you going to achieve that?

  • Doing 100 pushups and 200 lunges (Because they're the perfect 6 week program). (3 str, 2 dex)
  • 45 minutes of Walking/Running 3 times a week. (2 dex, 2 sta)
  • Cut down my Starbucks consumption, bring it down to 3 times a week from 5. Floss/Rinse with Listerine every night. (2 Con, 2 Cha)

 

Life Quests

  • Read at least 1 chapter of the book I'm working on directly before bed each night. (2 Wis) (Currently Reading: Conform)

 

Metrics

 

Measurements: 70" height, 214.4lbs, 14.5" neck, 39" Abdomen = 27.01%

Quick question, the 100 pushups and 200 lunges are per what period of time? A week, a day? Over the course of the whole six weeks?

 

So you do an initial test, it then gives you so many to do per set per day (3 days in the week) with only 60sec rest between sets.

 

Its less intense than I was doing before, but its more to help my back come back to full health after being in a car accident a couple months ago. Once everything is kosher with my back I'll likely move back to the body weight exercises I was doing.

I am doing the 100 pushup program this challenge too :D  I added in the 200 squat one as well.

The programs train you so that at the end of 6 weeks, you can do all 100 in one time period.

Did the 100 pushups part of the workout (gave legs a rest since I did the initial test on Sunday). Either I've become a weakling, or this was more intense than I thought it would be.


Did not walk/run.


Had Starbucks in the morning, Did not floss or rinse with listerine (This is what happens when you fall asleep on your daughter's floor trying to get her to go to bed)

I recall you had been reading the Song of Ice and Fire series, how far did you get through that series?

I'm still about midway through book 2; I figure the longer I take with it, the more time he has to write those books, lol.

I randomly decided to check out the 100 push-ups program (again, since I had tried it once a looong time ago, and probably got nowhere) I seem to be Level 2 in that, hoping to get moving on Week 1 this week and we'll see if I plan to stick with that.

ARG Starbucks - you foul temptress! I'm wishing you the best on that goal, because it is so, so hard to break a habit like that. My partner and I are on a strict "make coffee at home and bring it to work" thing, and I break just due to habit (and end up with two coffees. Hmm). Also always a fan of reading goals. :)

Day 3:

Lunges: Check; Push ups: Check (Cheated a bit, was still sore from Monday so I did then from my knees. Couldn't support my weight doing them normal.)

Did not walk/run.

No Starbucks! Did not floss or rinse with listerine (huge fail, no excuse for this)

On page 13 of 161 (Chapters in this book (The Israel Test) have sections, the book itself only has like 12 chapters.. Read 2 sections last night)

Since I missed 1 day of level 3 week 1 on pushups and 2 days level 3 on lunges I kept on the weekly time table and went down a level on both (to try and also avoid further injury).


Did not walk/run.
