Who's going to Dragoncon?

Hi ya'll!

 

I was just wondering, are any of ya'll going to Dragoncon? I've lived near the Atlanta area all my life and I have only been once, and it was cause I was lost and looking for directions.

 

I really want to go and knock it off my bucket-list . I'm probably not going to cosplay because it's so soon and I am, well, not very crafty. I have trouble with straight line

I'm going! A bunch of my friends and I go almost every year and it's an absolute blast. No costume this year, so I am going to make do with my vast collection of nerdy t-shirts.

I am 90% sure I am going. I say 90% because I've got my bus ticket, I've got a roomshare, and I have my Dragon*Con pass, but I feel like I'm forgetting something! Rolling my suitcase from the station is going to be a PAAAAIN, but I've been wanting to go to this convention for a while. Pretty excited to see my favorite nerdy authors and to meet some interesting folks.

Hoping to go Saturday and meet Jim Butcher and Kelly Sue DeConnick. I'm going to miss the parade due to half-marathon training but that's okay

if you're taking grey hound - the terminal is RIGHT by the Garnett Marta station which you can take north 2 stops for Peachtree Center where most of Con is.
