CrimsonTide2006
I want to have a better measurable main goal but I don't know what it can be. I don't like counting calories...& I don't want to say "lose x amount of weight" because if I gain any muscle then that stat(body weight) will be useless. Link to comment

Go for "lose x amount of Body fat" instead? then you can continue muscle building and still feel like you're shedding something. Squee! challenges! I get lazy way too quick without them. Tsk! Nephthie
This will only be my second challenge and I am still working to make eating well and being active part of my lifestyle so my goals will be set to keep me accountable to spend time focused on meal planning, staying active during the day and making sure I get my workouts in. I still need to be taking baby steps - I've gotten fit before, I've eaten well before, I've been skinny before, but nothing stuck. Hopefully taking it slow will be the way to mash it into my brain! 2 Human Adventurer: Level 2 || STR 4 || DEX 1 || STA 3 || CON 1 || WIS 3 || CHA 2 || Current Challenge: #2 || Battle Log || Past Challenges: #1 Link to comment

I don't like counting calories...& I don't want to say "lose x amount of weight" because if I gain any muscle then that stat(body weight) will be useless. I would have said it, but Tea beat me to it. I think the bodyfat % would be best. If not that, then you can always go by clothes size. You can lose fat and gain muscle but your clothes will fit differently. Also there's body measurements (like left bicep, right bicep etc.) Blaidd said I should feel welcome here. As well you should. Welcome! If you have any Qs then feel free. Greetings, Adventurers! manelsen
@Teros: as far as I understood, there are three classes for people with a lot of interests, without super-specialization: Rangers, Assassins and Adventurers. Rangers claim they include even Adventurers, btw. I thought I had understood well the differences, but it's kinda foggy right now; who are the Adventurers? I.e., monks fight, warriors pump iron, scouts run, druids meditate - but how can I say I'm an Adventurer, with exclusion of Assassin and Ranger? I.e., monks fight, warriors pump iron, scouts run, druids meditate - but how can I say I'm an Adventurer, with exclusion of Assassin and Ranger?Well all of the level 1s used to be Adventurers; however when the level 1s moved, Adventurers became people that are starting out and are a mix of things and people that want to clean up their eating. Assassins specialize with bodyweight exercises and parkour. Rangers primary would be crossfit (strength/endurance). Of course, there is some blend so it's about what you like most. I'll give you myself as an example: -I go up and down bleachers circuits-Walk with my dogs-I work out with a sledgehammer-kettelbells-sandbags-tire flips-pushups-getting into making my own dumbbells for various lifts like bent over rows, skullcrushers, overhead press, etc. There's stuff in that mix from scouts, rangers, assassins, and warriors. I do all of that stuff; I don't specialize at all. I think all of these things are awesome and want to invest some time in all of them. So the jist is starting off, but like I said- there's overlap. Windranger
Hey guys! Read some about the goals to be measurable here. Mine aren't really measurable also. I decide after the challenge how much I will reward for my actions because my priority lies in at least doing something. About posting a picture - I simply rightclick on it, choose "copy" and then paste it in the post. What's to be noted is that this doesn't work with every picture I think. Have messed up four challenges by now but this time I will smash it. I am damn determined to make it through this challenge and I know that this time my persistence will last! Looking forward to having a good time here with you guys! 2 "The purpose of life is to be happy." - Tendzin Gyatsho, the 14th Dalai Lama Character Link to comment

Looking forward to having a good time here with you guys! I hear you on the measurable goals problem. And about messing up on challenges. The measure of my success will be whether or not I feel like I fell off the track at the end. It's kinda like not leveling up by the end of the dungeon, but at least you stayed alive to get a significant amount of XP. 2 I have conditions that affect my social awareness.
