Lishvicious comes out of the tunnels and into the light!

PROLOGUE

 

My years in the tunnels have indeed been dark – spent in a vicious cycle of binge eating and self-hatred – a path that one could not continue to go down. Now it is time for change, it is time to go topside and into the light. This lowly morlock is on her journey to becoming a monk.

 

 

MAIN QUEST

 

Battling my way out of this darkness is going to take:

 

Hard work! I want to develop my body to a point where I could crush skulls between my thighs, bounce bullets off of my rock hard abs and smash through walls using my astonishing upper body strength. But, before I get to that stage I need to change my body composition – less fat and more muscle!

o   GOAL: Body fat percentage down to 20% (I will reset this to a lower percentage once I reach the 20% mark)

 

Determination! I want to be proud of myself, and get back the self-confidence that I know is hiding somewhere deep inside. The first step to regaining my confidence is to punch my binge eating disorder in the face!

o   GOAL: No binge eating!

 

There are going to be naysayers, temptations and times when I think I have nothing more to give. I am going to dig deep, I am going to be strong and I am going to stay determined – I’m coming out of the dark, and into the light!

 

 

THE QUESTS

 

Quest 1: Failing to plan, means planning to fail (+2 CON)

How am I supposed to stay strong and stay in the fight if I have no idea what the week has in hold for me? If I’m going to get my ass out of these stinky sewers I need to formulate a plan!

CON: Every Sunday night work out a weekly meal plan (calories and macronutrients in check) and finalise the workouts for the week. Then stick to the plan – and that also means no binge eating!

 

QUEST 2: Fit and strong for the journey ahead (+2 STR, +2 STA)

Ain’t no one just strolling out of here – it’s going to take hard work and a solid workout program to make it topside. I’m definitely going to need a mixture of strength training and cardio to get to where I want to be.

STR: A minimum of three strength-training sessions per week – these can be bodyweight based or barbell/dumbbell based.

STA: A minimum of two cardio-based sessions per week – running, walking, skipping, boxing, dancing, etc.

 

QUEST 3: Battle ready (+2 DEX)

Things are never easy for the morlocks – you always have to be battle ready! Am I battle ready? Well, not yet – but I will be – the training begins now.

DEX: At least one workout per week that will help me on my way to be battle ready – heavy bag training, technique work, yoga (for balance and flexibility), etc.

 

LIFE QUEST: Move towards the light (+1 WIS, +1 CHA)

I don’t want to sit around in the dark and have my life just pass me by. Lately the TV has sucked me in and I can slowly feel it sucking the life out of me. Well no more! It is time to get my time back and rejoin the real world.

WIS + CHA: No more free-to-air television – at all! This means I’ll have more time for reading comics, sewing my quilt, planning the Halloween party and other fun things.

 

 

MOTIVATION

 

I want to be the strongest and healthiest version of me so that I can find my confidence again, be a role model to my daughters and so that I can prove to everybody (most importantly myself) that I can do this!

YEAH!! Girl, you have a great battle plan! I know you'll be able to stick to your guns and especially show food who's boss, you deserve to rock this out! :D
