lishvicious
Amazing job. You totally rocked it. Keep up the awesome work! Thank you Nice work Lish! While eating the same thing every week (or day) may feel repetitive, it seems to work for you, and that's an awesome thing. Yeah it works for me - I used to eat a cheese and gherkin sandwich every day when I was in primary school Great work last week, and it looks like a pretty solid plan for week 3! Thanks! I'm going to to add blueberries to my protein shakes this week. When I have time to do smoothies at home, I love adding all sorts of fruit and berries, but lately I've just been putting protein powder and unsweetened coconut milk into my blender shake bottle at the office. I do have a small actual blender at work, though, so I think it's time for Lish-style morning protein drinks! Yes I love my blueberry smoothie It's amazing to see how you follow through with your challenge. Hope you are ok and the nausea was nothing serious. I'm feeling well today thank you - I just hope the good feeling continues. Amdhiel
Basically my daily goal is to get under 1500 calories, and to always get over 100g of protein per day. I'm sticking with the same meals and format - because I am lazy and it appears to be working for me. One day I'll try something different - I've been eating the same meals (pretty much) for 7 weeks now Ehh it only matters if you like what you're eating , no one else's opinion matters . Eating the same thing can get very boring tho which is why I've been changing up how I prep my protein. I'll keep sticking to veggies I know that don't bug me and occasionally quinoa or rice. 1 Assassin Battle Log | MFP: Amdhiel Challenges: Current, #7, #6, #5, #4, #3, #2, #1 "Why do we fall sir? Yep - I agree. I sometimes swap a few things around - but it generally stays the same - just makes shopping and prepping so much easier - which means less stress - which means I don't lose my mind. 3 Level 1 :: Lycan (STR-2 :: DEX-2 :: STA-2 :: CON-2 :: WIS-1 :: CHA-1) Challenges: One Daily logs: Battle log / MFP Link to comment

Brekketechie
YAY FOR BATCH COOKING!I mean, as long as you're getting all the nutrients you need - and you're happy for repetition - go for it! I have the same smoothie every morning. It's just easier than sorting out what ingredients you need for lots of dishes. I have 2 meal options for the week: soup and roast veggies+soy-sage. I have 2 planned meals that I'm eating out, so that will add variety. But batch cooking is the BEST - it save money and time, and who doesn't love that? So happy to see you besting through week 2! lishvicious
Skull crushing imminent!-------Day 15 Report-------- Quest 1: Failing to plan, means planning to failWeek two begins with a bang! Meals were good - even though I went to the cinemas and wanted to eat lollies and chocolate - I stuck with my damn 22 almonds. I was actually thinking that I was going to have a queasy moment again today, but then I realised that I was actually just extremely hungry - so wolfed down my salad at lunch. Also had a mega amount of chicken at dinner tonight so my protein levels are pretty mega. Oh yeah and strength workout that was planned for was totally achieved. Bam. Calories: 1492 Carbs: 96 Fat: 45 Protein: 170 QUEST 2: Fit and strong for the journey ahead Strength workout today - done in the middle of the day when motivation was starting to dip, but I got out there and did it anyway. Pity I had about 100 mozzies that were trying to eat me alive while I was out there. Bastards! Oh well, at least it meant that I powered through it because I would kinda like to keep my blood for myself. Oh and a bonus today - my friend returned my adjustable dumbbells so weights can increase again . 4 sets of each:DB squats (12 x 6kg) --> Upping weightsDB bench press (12 x 6kg) --> Upping weightsBB deadlifts (12 x 21kg) --> Upping weightsBent over BB row (12 x 16kg) DB bicep curls (12 x 6kg)Skull crushers (12 x 6kg) --> Upping weightsRussian twists (12 x 2.5kg) Bicycle crunches (14) --> Upping reps QUEST 3: Battle readyNot today. LIFE QUEST: Move towards the light I can see the light!! Seriously today was jam packed!Took the girls to the cinemas to see Strawberry Shortcake (god help me) - they sat and enjoyed their m&m's and I ate almondsWent for a quick walk around the shops, purchased new colouring in books and mega sticker bookHome for sticker madness - then all of sudden queasy! Then I remembered that it was lunch time, and I was in fact hungry - salad solved itOutside for strength workout - much sweat, much blood (mozzies) - no tearsCome inside to cool down - hear a massive bang! Go outside to see that some guy has just totally swiped the side of a parked car off and then gone flying into my rubbish bins. The whole street came out to see what was going on - the guy was injured (his leg I think), his car was buggered, the other car was pretty screwed and one of my bins was destroyed. I was just so thankful that no one was seriously injured - and that my kids were nowhere near it when it happened. The guy could of killed someone - it was a bit scary. After all the excitement disappeared we walked down to the park for a playBack home for dinner, more colouring in, and also some book writing and drawingThen the usual tidy up, bath, stories and bed routineNow NFLater - finish those damn halloween decorations 8 Level 1 :: Lycan (STR-2 :: DEX-2 :: STA-2 :: CON-2 :: WIS-1 :: CHA-1) Challenges: One Daily logs: Battle log / MFP Link to comment

Kenyo
-------Day Ten Report-------- Quest 1: Failing to plan, means planning to failEverything was travelling along well today - workout was done and meal plan followed! And as an added bonus I didn't feel quite so ravenous today - hopefully tomorrow will be similar! QUEST 2: Fit and strong for the journey ahead Les Mills Combat today - it was 45 minutes long, I've done it multiple times before, but for somer reason today I felt really sick after I finished - like I needed top puke. It was quite gross, and something that I hope does not happen again anytime soon. Apart from that it went well and I was dripping with sweat afterwards, I always think that is a sign of a good workout. QUEST 3: Battle readyWell I'm counting Les Mills Combat towards this goal - because it has Combat in the name and you spend the whole time punching and kicking the air - so why not? LIFE QUEST: Move towards the light I will be back to the halloween party decorations tonight - I actually handed out a bunch of the invitations today, and one mother told me that this would be the first party that her daughter goes to (she is a foster child, and had a very rough beginning). It actually made me a bit teary to think of all the things that I just take for granted, and to think of the life I am giving my two girls. It was one of those moments that you realise - hey I'm actually a pretty awesome mum and I should be proud of myself - so yay! lishvicious
Week 3 mini challenge 1. Pinpoint the quest in your journey that is giving you the most uphill (or one that you're struggling to achieve)So I think the hardest part for me is to get motivated to do my workouts (so related to my quest 2 and 3). Although I have stuck with it so far - I know that if I'm not careful I will let life get in the way and start making up excuses not to do them. 2. Search through NF (forums or articles) to find one that is able to offer some assistanceSo I did a little search, and..... How to Guarantee Victory Against the Motivation Monster seems like a fitting article to help me through. 3. Apply it to your challenge (no collecting underpants here). So once the school holidays are over and things start to get busy again (at the start of 5) I am going to be very daring and change my workout schedule to get it done and dusted first thing in the morning - when nothing can get in the way and I won't be able to make any excuses. For the next week and a half I will slowly work on going to bed earlier and waking up earlier so that it won't be a huge shock to the system. 1 Level 1 :: Lycan (STR-2 :: DEX-2 :: STA-2 :: CON-2 :: WIS-1 :: CHA-1) Challenges: One Daily logs: Battle log / MFP Link to comment
