Amdhiel Posted September 18, 2014 Author Report Share Posted September 18, 2014 Cross posted from my Battle Log Right so I ate my breakfast (1c cottage cheese and peaches) at like 7:30 and was hungry again by the time I caught the bus an hour later. I gave into said hunger and grabbed a protein bar around 9:30-10 and was hungry again by 11:30. I have now finished off my lunch of 8oz chicken and 4 servings of broccoli and I'm still hungry. This is the absolute weirdest feeling ever. I mean I've probably gone a year or more with complete loss of apetite and now I'm suddenly starving. I have a technology problem and I admit it. There are other cheaper options. People say good things about the FitBit Flex which does almost everything my watch does for half the price. That watch goes straight to my wish list! One day I'll have the money . I looked into those apps, but my phone is really always on my desk. Or in my bag. Or at home because I forgot it. WRT the phone, I think it's just a mentality thing. It's not that I *have* to be connected all the time. It's more that I know the phone helps me with stuff like counting steps and giving me music that makes me happy so that I can walk. It's a tool that can be very useful if you decide that's how you want to use it but it's not for everyone. It's also why I like the watch, it's a watch so it's always on my wrist. I can charge it while I'm checking up on stuff or watching an episode of something on my computer. I had a terrible night with sleep and I didn't let it get me down. I got up and did my YAYOG before work even though I yawned most of the way through it. I was hungry which is kinda amazing (see earlier post) and I ate. I also resisted temptation and just kind of enjoyed the whole being hungry (LOL). Due to stress and other issues I've been in a non-existent appetite state for over a year. And yeah, I'm eating at a deficit of over 500cal this week unintentionally. I've been going with eat at least my BMR and if I want to eat a bit more great but I'm not going to stuff my face. But based on how my body normally works, yeah it's going to want to hulk out even though I'm eating a loss. I'm already seeing increased muscle in my biceps, quads and calves. But I got myself up and out into the 50 degree morning.
