I never thought I would say it, but I cannot wait for it to be Monday.

Also, it is very unhelpful when the company you called yesterday at 8am said they would do a prepurchase vehicle inspection the next day, and then at 2pm the next day tell you they dont do prepurchase inspections anymore and the AA cant get there until Monday afternoon AAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGHHH

I do  have one serious question for the BBW routine. The pushup. I've always done pushups with a very wide grip. Am I better moving to closer grip? Is it more efficient?

Steve's blog pics always show him with the hands tight against the ribs, and elbows aligned with the body.

Thoughts?

I have taken all knowledge to be my province.

Moving your hands in makes push ups harder and it can work different muscle groups too (diamond push ups work your triceps a lot more than regular push ups), I would try for keeping them shoulder width apart for doing normal push ups though. If nothing else it will mean you have to push your body further upwards and that means a greater workout for your chest! :D

Your hand position in width is less important starting off, than how your elbows move when you do them.

I had very naughty pushups when I first started, because I left the elbows move out in a 90 degree angle from my shoulders/body.

That can cause shoulder problems!    They should point out 45 degrees-ish from your shoulders, and the closer to the body they hug, the more it will work your triceps.

If you want, I miiiiight have a video of my BAD form pushup to show you what NOT to do.  Hehehe.

I love the multiple names for your cat. Mine is called Ms Bitey or Swamp Cat (my husband found her next to the swamp by our house). This way people are warned about so if they get scratched or bit, it's their own fault. ^_^

Our cats rarely get called by their real names... they have devolved into "Fluffbutt," "Yuugen Cat," and "Duchess Tubbington."  Or sometimes "Hannibal Lector Cat," when the Duchess has to go to the vet and they need to muzzle her because she tried to eat the vet tech once..........

I'm pretty sure the purpose of having a cat is just to name it.

I only call my dog by her actual name when I need her to do something. Any other time she is 'boo snuggles' or 'scrunch-a-tron', etc. and so on. She's a shar-pei, so much wrinkle.

You know, I do this with every other animal I have.

But then, you name a cat Walter. And nothing in the whole world suits him better than Walter. Sometimes I call him BabyBoy, but that's a small percentage of the time. HE IS WALTER.

Not so good Form:

Here ya go.   It's a link to me doing push ups when I juuuust started.   I could crank out a fair number but --- like I said elbows sticking out the wrong way and I wasn't really going far enough down.

Better Form:

And this is a link to me doing push ups with slightly better form.  (Elbows pointing back now instead of straight out, and getting lower)

Elbow direction looks about the same to me, honestly.   Much deeper range of motion though.

I can't think of a Walter cat more Walter-like than Walter.  Well done.

I have a cat like that. Her name is Charlotte. She IS Charlotte. Unlike every other cat I've had, she has no nickname. The closest is Charlotte-Charlotte. Which is like, the opposite of a nickname.
