oh my goodness guys...

 

It is Canadian thanksgiving this weekend and I will be in the middle of rural nowhere with a ukranian grandmother who cooks the most divine food I have ever had in my entire life. 

 

My willpower at work has been phenomenal but I don't know if I can stand it out there.

 

Keep me in your thoughts this weekend. I may be completely round when I get back...

Will be thinking of you!!

Do a crazy hike or pullups off a tree or something before eating, every time that weekend? Then your body will simply burn everything you put into it if you keep it within reason. Remember, its not, "I cant eat that." It is "I don't eat *that* much now" or "I don't need so much." If you limit the damage of unexpected foods and balance it by exercising, it will be easier to bounce back, and you will still enjoy a weekend with family and not insult the chef. =)

Just remember portions! You can indulge a little but know when to stop.

it's just one weekend :)

 

you can mitigate the effects of grannys cooking... do push ups or sit ups or pull ups or burpees.... for every portion you have of "off plan" foodz do 10 reps... drink a big glass of water (or two) before you sit down to eat... then continue drinking... it will help you feel full and keep your portions down... 

 

 

don't freak out too much even if you do gain a couple pounds... because it will probably just be water weight... you have to eat 3500 calories OVER maintenance to gain a pound... which is a LOT more than you think... especially if you do the reps for off plan foodz :)

Week Summary:

 

Quest 1: workouts

Grade: A+ baby! went over and beyond and took my doggies out for runs.

 

Quest 2: eating out:

Grade: A

 

It's an A as I did not eat out, instead ate in.. at grandma's.

 

Quest 3: running

Nice update, even if it did include getting sick. Taking time for recovery is important, and will help you be twice as strong after the cold is gone!

being sick is the worst.... but I think you did awesome to get the A's!! 

 

 

and maybe cut yourself some slack for missing workouts for being sick?? like grade on the times you were ABLE to go rather than scheduled to go?

WOOT moment!

 

I ran 4 km last night (for a short(ish) chubby girl like me who, until recently, despised running, this is impressive) and I did it in half an hour!

 

soooo my goal of getting 5km in 45 minutes is pretty much beat, I just have to actually, you know.. do it!

FINAL SUMMARY YO!!

 

Here are the results:

 

Workouts: A- which is still an A So reward is STR 2 and CON 2

 

Eating out: Also an A- Which is also still an A which means CON 2 and STA 2

 

Complete first 5km!= A+++ I did it in 39 minutes (down to the wire! and I am now dead) STR 2 CON 2

 

Life Quest: Assignments in and on time: A++++ so WIS 2 CHA 1
