Hi Rebels!! Sorry for the little dino-cation. I've been keeping up with all of you, just not here, don't worry! :)

It has been a crazy week! The very day he got home he lost his wallet, so we spent a few frantic days trying to replace things before it turned up in the van he took from the airport. Then this weekend my company kickball tournament happened, and I had his friends surprise him and we took him to see The Aquabats on Saturday, so the whole weekend was too much booze, un-better foods, and tons of fun. Here is a quick wrap up, and the week in pictures.

Park Days: 2/3

Food Choices: 3 best, 2 better, 2 normal

No Weekday Booze: fail

Wake Ups: All 5 days!

Girly PVP: Doing so/so still

Foods and funs:

Thanks guys!!

Tuesday: Up at 7:20, no park today but LOTS of housework after work. Lunch was a salad, a low-veggie content type I wouldn't normally go for but it really hit the spot:38e82710f015df148a5b8a3bf59446d4.jpg

For dinner I made zoodle Alfredo with rotisserie chicken: 4b32aae6c7834295e139bc9e007956d6.jpg

Wednesday:

Day off so no wake up time. I skipped the park to deal with the MOUNTAIN of laundry that recently appeared in my home. Lunch was homemade breakfast tacos:

Dinner I made meatballs (literally, nothing in those but meat and seasoning) which I had with zoodles again, and Mr. Kailer had with rice and BBQ sauce.

Hehe, no kidding, zoodles have made my life so much better. Most peoeple use a julienne peeler, which works like a regular vegetable peeler but creates strips. I have this much more metal julienne slicer, basically a mandoline on steroids.

I hope everyone is off making zoodles now :)

Thursday:

Things happened. Some good, some bad, definitely things. I was up at 7:20 as required, and apparently accidentally wore my junk food magnet... It was a birthday at work so I had cheesecake and a chicken wing. Then Red Lobster for lunch... So many shrimp!!

After work I went to the park, so that's a win! My husband and I were having a difficult re-integration day (WHO IS THIS TORNADO OF MESSES WHO THINKS HE LIVES IN MY APARTMENT AAAAHHHH!!) so I decided to have dinner solo while I was out of the house. Nachoes...

Don't worry, I only ate one shell, then the rest with a fork. That is indeed a weekday booze in the left corner, though.

It was a beautiful day in the park, though, so hopefully that makes up for having a normal food choices day:

Update!!

Week Three (where is the time going?!)

43c2380bc77decd3570b216ea898a072.jpg

Food Choices: 2 Best, 3 Better, 2 Normal

Park Days: 2/3

No Weekday Booze: fail

Wake-Ups: All 5 days!!

Side Quest: I was brave and strong!!

Actually a good week altogether!! I worked about 10 hours overtime because we had our annual core upgrade at work on Sunday. This week should be "normal" but next week I'll be on vacation back in my hometown all week - I'm actually looking forward to the lack of excitement next Challenge will bring, lol.

My husband and I have a post-vacation plan which will start W6 D1. We are going to both go onto "weight loss mode" until we've each lost 10 lbs. That way we can encourage each other instead of competing :) After we each reach 10 lbs we will go into maintenance mode together and maintain our new weight for 4 weeks. Then we go back into weight loss mode for 10 lbs. I'm hoping that the cycle will help me from getting so obsessed with losing weight quickly that I over-stress and fall into a binge hole.

Week Four - Monday:

Woke up at 7:40 which I will say is a win - my schedule keeps changing at work which has complicated this. I should be at 7:10 this week so I'll go back to that tomorrow. I think I have a stomach bug that's been going around the office so I didn't make it to the park. I had a half-ass meat mountain for lunch and made rice with ground beef and veggies for dinner, which seemed to calm my stomach. I was in bed by 8, and definitely no booze!!

This seems like a really wise plan, to me.   That's really awesome that you are supporting each other that way.

Today I've already eaten a piece of bread and some Cheez-Its in a carby effort to calm my stomach; it has been successful enough.

Stomach stuff is THE WORST. Totally makes sense to eat what works to sooth the savage belly beast. And you've been doing awesome, so what's a Cheeto or two between friends? Feel better!

I think I've broken the virus. Everyone reported 48 hours that started with insatiable hunger pangs, eventually BM issues and vomiting. I just had 48 hours of the above but not vomiting. I DID eat all of eventhing yesterday, though: bread, cheez-Its, chicken salad, reeces....

Now I'm thinking bad choices for today. But dinner was so good it saved me.
