Okay, updates!

Day Three:

Up at 7:40.

Lunch was left over pork chops and green beans. "Dinner" was snacks at a bridal shower - I was pretty good by avoiding cupcakes and pies, making sure I had veggies, but there was lumpia and rice krispie treats. It happens. Better day overall.

That night I went out with girlfriends, which was much needed, but officially blew the alcohol goal. I think next week is going to be a lot easier on that one with the hubby home.

No park since I went out.

Day Four:

Slept in til 8... Definitely a result of being out with friends the night before!! I ate the rest of the ground chicken for lunch, so best choice. Dinner was steak pinwheels with bacon and parmesan, but I'm calling it a best choice because THIS is still sealed in the freezer: 69c8a3e67a3d12c464e824f7d9dc67cc.jpg

No park; rain.

Day Five:

Up at 7:40. Lunch was Chick-fil-a, better choice:

Dinner hasn't happened yet, I think sushi, which is a normal choice. Too expensive and carby to be anything else. So, today will be a better day altogether.

EDIT: Maybe I will upgrade to better choice. The Paleo inside me created this mess:

Great Scott is there a lot of rice on sushi!!

I made it to the park!! I walked 5 minutes then started to jog but that hamstring I pulled 2.5 weeks ago immediately started to complain. I could feel myself favoring it and running all wonky so after 5 minutes I went back to walking. I did 1.5 miles in 25 minutes. I think I'm going to try to get short walks in the next few days to help that hamstring heal; obviously it isn't getting used enough.

Hmmm, not much food porn for three days. Have you guys seen Ron recently?? Take this as a compromise.

Thanks, Sterre!! They are both jerks, really, lol.

PB, you were up at 5:30 on Saturday, that's a whoooooole other level of strength.

I forgot to tell you all a story!! Yesterday, I wanted a diet coke (some day I will conquer this; today is not that day) but all I had was a $5. There is a change machine but it dispenses dollar coins (pirate money) but this soda machine is the only machine in the building that doesn't take pirate money. I think I'm sooooooooooo smart, I'll stick one of the dollar coins in the snack machine and then hit the coin return, I bet it will return my dollar with quarters. It does not; it holds my dollar hostage and can't figure out how to return it at all!! So while I'm sitting there with a dollar in the snack machine, but I want a soda, not a snack - my boss walks in, sticks a gold dollar coin in the soda machine, and achieves her diet soda. **sigh**

It took dollar coins all along.

I bought Reeces with my hostage dollar, then my soda. I gave the Reeces away.... And then one of my co-workers bought me another one to make fun of me. I gave that away, too!! So I didn't turn my dumb-dumb moment into an excuse for junk food, at least.

 I bought Reeces with my hostage dollar, then my soda. I gave the Reeces away.... And then one of my co-workers bought me another one to make fun of me. I gave that away, too!! So I didn't turn my dumb-dumb moment into an excuse for junk food, at least.

You gave it away - what great self control :)  I love the making better decisions goal.

Looking good so far this week - I cant wait for more dino adventures :)
