I'm really glad you decided to do a challenge. Remember that they're about you and not about putting on a show and making it exciting. Sometimes a relaxing bit is good.

Just dropping some starting stats here; 

 

Monday evening (sept, 15) I weighed 74,5kg. 

 

Training wise, I did the following (on sept 15); 

max set 12kg snatch with a single switch; 7,5 minutes. -> aiming for 10 or 12 

6 minute snatch set with 16kg, switch every minute. -> this was reasonable and my goal will be to do the 6 minutes with a single switch. 

 

Videooo so I can also check form (and maybe see if I look smaller, haha); 

Impressive. I tried snatches yesterday again. I can see several things in your video that I need to improve on. The program I am doing (Enter the Kettlebell) has me doing snatches once a week. Part of me wonders whether that time would be better spent doing cleans, since it seems like getting that right is a big help in the snatches. And my clean is no where near as smooth and crisp as yours, I still swing too big of an arc.

 

Also, I think you look in fantastic shape right now. Strong and lean.

Thanks! You may be right.. I guess I suck at counting xD or really I unconsciously didn't count the last one. Oh well.

The problem is not with your clean though, but with your swing. That's whats causing the big arc. I'm guessing you still push hips forward during the swing?

Tuesday food went well, 1600&100. That's a chain of 2 days! Woot! (Just celebrating small victories)

I had a 11 hour day +2 hour travel time so I didn't do much when I got home besides review workout logs and videos from my clients. But I did make lunch for wednesday! (Today, eating breakfast on the bus as I'm typing this.)

Three 400 cal meals again; one is leftover curry from dinner and the other 2 sandwhiches + extra protein just like yesterday.

I really like your idea of eating 4 400kcal meals a day. I want to give it a try, since I think my body would like it, but can't for the life of me figure out how to make it work with my work schedule. I try for 3 meals of just over 500kcal, but that usually leaves me hungry at night...

 

If you're cutting aggressively maybe you just need to embrace the suck. Or maybe add a small 200 cal snack in the evening and accept a slightly lower rate weight loss?

Oh I'm not tiny! I'm actually quite tall really. And yay, I want to be organized, it's good that I at least seem that way with my foods.

What's your schedule like? It's perfect for mine.. I have breakfast, then lunch.. then second lunch around 4pm so I can train at 6/7pm and then 'dinner' after training. Or when I have a long day I have second lunch at 4pm and I can hold it together 'till i'm home for a late dinner. Never hungry at night. In between tho sometimes I am. And maybe 1500 is pretty aggressive for you? How much protein do you get?

They really are :) Though normally I put some salad and tomatoes on them too, but I ran out. 

 

I'm so loving the food prep! I need to be more organized like that... so much easier to have your food choices already made in advance!

It really is! In the moment I always manage to convince myself of eating too much or not so good stuff. The day before though, i'm in control of the elephant brain ;)

Good point on the swing. My workout schedule is 2 days a week swing. More than increasing volume, this challenge I think I will focus on form. And on that note, I made a video of my swing. Wednesday went well for food, 1550&120! I'm especially proud of this one because I visited my sisters to 'borrow' some clothes and she had made brownies. They came hot out of the oven. And I ignored them! Woot ;)

I have an afternoon/evening shift today so I actually had breakfast at home. Also packed 2 lunches, the usual since I haven't been grocery shopping yet.

I also went for a short run this morning since I probably won't make it to the gym. It wasn't too bad.

As far as adulting goes; I cleaned the kitchen, did the dishes and sweeped the floor. But it's still a mess.

Great job with resisting the brownies!  I mean, it's one thing to resist brownies that have been sitting out for a day, but it's another thing entirely to resist the fresh-out-of-the oven ones.

It's always interesting watching your videos, because we seem to have a very similar body type (and I think we're the same height, too).  It's not always fair to yourself to play the "do I look smaller" game.  If you have wide hip bones and muscular thighs, they're not going to get any smaller.  ;)
