lullaby88
Week 2, Day 7: Doing this quick before bed and because I won't be on tomorrow. Well, that's the hope. I am quite bad about checking my phone often. I went out to Target and Ross to go look at their offerings...No luck. So still need to browse online a bit more. And then decide on what I think will look good. Will probably snag one or two dresses and whatever I don't chose, I'll return. I don't have much reason to dress up much. I did go to the salon and get a hair cut. Just to get rid of my dead, split ends that I had. I haven't had my hair cut for like 3 or so years. Also haven't dyed my hair in over 2. I did not complete the 2nd mini challenge, only got in 20 minutes of mediation. But hey, it's better then what I've done in the past so I can't complain. Good night y'all! I kicked week 2's ass and will post my weekly update on Tuesday. lullaby88
Week 3, Day 1: Hung out with the husband all day. Caught up with some of the adventures from the weekend. We did go out for breakfast and ordered food in. So no food point. I did order 2 dresses online yesterday. I'm hoping I chose right. I was also nervous on the measurement aspect because my hips are so much wider then my chest and waist. I have a feeling I'll need to bring them (if I decide on keeping both) to a tailor and get them fitted. I'm also hoping to get them quickly so I have enough time to bring them to a tailor. So I worked on my life quest yesterday. Points there. lullaby88
Ugh...kind of forgot to update the past few days. Been thrown off habit because I took Monday off. I'm going to write a recap of Tuesday but not count the update.Week 3, Day 2: Did yoga. Ate at home, chicken stir fry. Tried a new recipe and it was decent. The chicken wasn't the best quality so it tasted a bit funny.Week 3, Day 3: Missed the walk but I was tired. Took a nap. Made dinner and no snacking or processed food. So food point. Going to take the missed walk today after dinner. Had chicken again. This time with steamed asparagus and roasted creamer potatoes. I need to get back into the swing of things. I am excited it's October! I love Halloween related things. Going to be attending a few Haunts this year: 2 in San Diego and 1 here. I worked at one of the San Diego haunted attractions. It's much fun scaring people, especially when you're paid to do it. I'll be back exploring the threads more tomorrow and this weekend. So I'll catch up, I promise. I'm not completely focused on cracking down on it. I just wanted to keep it as something I think about. Got a meal plan setup. So hopefully we can stick to it. We got steak and asparagus tonight, bacon burgers tomorrow, Wednesday is going to be salad with chicken and roasted broccoli, Thursday is chicken stir fry, Friday will be beef stew. Saturday and Sunday are kind of up in the air but most likely will be chicken fajitas and beer. I got my walks in. Not the greatest of walks but hey it's movement. Did yoga twice. I am liking it, though I need to adapt to some of the positions. Did belly dancing on Saturday. So glad I did it before my doctor's appointment. >.< I need to find a new doctor. I went it to get blood drawn and got poked 3 times and they still weren't able to get enough blood. My left hand had a huge bump on it, now it's just a huge bruise (think half-dollar size). My right arm has a nice tear/hole in it. It also wouldn't stop bleeding for like 5 minutes afterwards. Also couldn't move it much without pain/soreness. It hurt to play video games because of the angle you have to hold the controller (slightly bent elbows) so I spent the rest of my Saturday laying in bed and didn't cook. So definitely a successful Week 3! Oh, Week 3, Day 7 update: Made an awesome breakfast of potatoes, onions, peppers and hot Italian sausage. Went and watched football and drank beer. Had shrimp for the first time in years and tried a mussel. It was good and a lot better then oysters. Played Plants vs Zombies and kicked a little butt. It's the first video game I've played (not counting clay fighters from the 90's) so I have a lot of work. The husband has been helping me rank up the characters, even though he gets angry over being killed easily.
