RECAP: #1. During W1-W3 I still did quite frequent update on this thread, and that actually helped me keeping on track. From W4, I started to lose the momentum of posting updates; I did very bad on Q3 and LQ at the end :-/Next challenge I'll keep in mind to post update - however small it is!All in all, I'm so glad finally I get to round up this challenge... I plan to join the next challenge in 2015, so please keep watching~ #2. SPREADSHEETS are very helpful in keeping track of progress AND keeping yourself motivated. I finally made a spreadsheet to count all the points and it made me sad to see the empty tallies on Q3 and LQ X( Had I made the spreadsheet from the beginning, I might be able to do better... *sigh*O well -- Lesson learned! 1 .: d3li9ht :.Level 2 Aspiring Assassin[ STR 3.3 ][ DEX 2.9 ][ STA 4 ][ CON 3.2 ][ WIS 4 ][ CHA 2 ]Challenges: #0.5 | #1.5 | #3 CURRENT | YAYOG PVP (W5D3) The Awesome Colorful Spreadsheets Link to post
Randa Rooskie
Oh, I think I really like the spreadsheet idea! I've seen people post some pretty complicated things that they're tracking using those and I just shrugged it off as something that didn't sound like fun. However, having a simple check-list... something where I could have a visual on how I'm doing toward my goals? THAT sounds motivating. I might try that on the next challenge, thanks! Hope your path is seeming less lonely and more awesome every day! 1 1 Tim 4:7-8 "...train yourself for godliness; for while bodily training is of some value, godliness is of value in every way, as it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come." Trembriele
Better late than never! I'm glad to see that you updated your challenge. I also suck at posting updates past week 3 - I keep working on and mostly hitting my goals, but have trouble with the using my words to share my progress. I want to get better with that this next time, but just having it posted (even if I forget to update) helps keep me accountable. 1 Battle Log Link to post
