Pherales
I always find that if the weather is great I'm in a much better mood as well! My grandmother thinks I have some form of S.A.D (Seasonal Affective Disorder) And that I should get one of those daylight bulbs as far as I'm concerned, as long as I haul my ass out of bed and get on with what I ahve to do, the day was a succcess regardless of mood. Yay for banananas! 1 Do the thing Link to comment

Teros
Help everyone, damsel in distress over here! Tomorrow's paleo day and I am so afraid to give in to temptation and eat loads of chocolate spread on yummy evil bread..."But why do you even have these in your kitchen?", you ask. Well I don't, but my in laws do and I'm holidaying at their house until Monday.Scary visions of buttered slices of bread covered in a mountain of hagelslag have started to invade my thoughts Writing about it is already making me feel better though, amazing side effect of asking for help it would seem! Nutella is like liquid crack for me (and safe to assume, plenty of others.) That's the great thing about this forum. Mera
Love your challenge and LOVE Sailor Moon. I used to be (still am, who are we kidding) a big Sailor Pluto fan. Always jealous of that hair. I've been considering getting calipers, Let me know how you get on with them. I will definitely check out the Tibetan Yoga. I'm currently just doing sun salutations, mostly because I can feel the stretch in my hamstrings, but always looking for alternatives. Looking forward to your updates. 2 Forever Respawning Rebel CURRENT CHALLENGE Previous challenges: 01, 02 "Just sitting here on the corner of awesome and bombdiggity..." - unknown Link to comment

Odango
Aaaaargh, double posting! Sorry! Sooo, I guess it's time for WEEK 1 - REPORT ! #1 Beginner bodyweight workout 3x/week2x/week until October 6th : fail. Joined the challenge Wednesday evening, completed 1st BBWW on Thursday. Went on a great bike ride on Sunday instead of doing 2nd BBWW, it's not as good for my body but was definitely better for my mind, it was refreshing and invigorating as it can get! so I don't feel too bad about it also, will not forget to stretch my gluteuses from now on. #2 Five Tibetans yoga exercises every morning7 repetions until October 6th : pass! I did it every morning and it was wonderful! It always makes me feel so good, I especially feel a huge relief in my back right afterwards. #3 Eat cleaner1. One day full paleo per week : as you know, it was hard, but I did it! Thanks to ya all it's a pass! 2. No alcohol allowed : pass! Overall : I am really happy after this short first week in the challenge! What makes me the happiest of it all, more than having created a momentum in yoga practice, more than completing 3x10 push-ups, even more than eating freaking palé-O for a whole day, it's all the interactions I've had on the forums! with you guys here or on your threads (which is the best!!). I did not expect it to be such a fantastic feeling and booster, it's AWESOME Now week 2 is starting, let's get down to it and blow those body weight workout records! (with 2 sessions, oh yeah!) Let's do it guys!! Oh, and, group hug again!! (warning you tactile defensivees out there, if you ever meet me AFK, I am a hugger!) 2 Dancing Sylph - Level 9 Monk/Druid Former Captain of the Nerdians of the Fitalaxy Current Challenge "E quindi uscimmo a riveder le stelle" - We came forth, and once more saw the stars, Dante Link to comment

Odango
Good job on your first week Nol! You are doing great. How did you feel on the paleo day? Any difference in your energy level? Thank you I barely slept the night before my paleo day (drunk coffee at a party to avoid alcohol, not the smartest) which did not give me an advantage energy-level wise, I was pretty tired all day and had to nap. I have very sensitive intestines though and they were very, very thankful. I'm not far from having IBS, that's my main motivation for going paleo actually Dancing Sylph - Level 9 Monk/Druid Former Captain of the Nerdians of the Fitalaxy Current Challenge "E quindi uscimmo a riveder le stelle" - We came forth, and once more saw the stars, Dante Link to comment

pokemaniacemily
I had read your challenge before but I hadn't written anything. It sounds like you have a lot to think about concerning your past/current health issues, but I'm sure you'll do great. It's inspiring to see someone take charge though, you know? I'm also super interested in Paleo, I'm a biological anthropology student so I study this kind of stuff anyways, I've just never tried it out.Post food pics!!!! 1 Level 1 Human WarriorSTR 0|DEX 0|STA 0|CON 0|WIS 0|CHA 0 “A bruise is a lesson... and each lesson makes us better.†- Syrio Forel (A Game of Thrones) Link to comment
