Good afternoon to all!

 

I am active duty Navy trying to cut down on weight to improve my PT test scores for this cycle. 

 

Main Quest- Excellent overall score

 

Side Quests- Cut out excess sugar, Do 71 pushups in 2 minutes, run 20km/wk

 

Motivation- Better evals, will help me get to the job I want in three years

I got my baseline today. 

 

Situps- 81

Pushups- 41

Run- 13:38

 

I'm being put on FEP to help with my scores, so that will get my pushups and sit-ups higher than they already are, and help me drop my weight. I'm still going to have to run on my own. Why does Hawaii have to be so bloody hot?

Not as good. The FEP workouts haven't had too much running, but a good bit of alternate cardio and strength training. Did two hours of fencing Wed night, and I have about 4 hours of fights (multiple weapons with HEMA) set for tomorrow, plus fencing in the evening, so I think that'll count for my weekly PT.

Update from the past week- failed two of my three goals, still doing well with cutting out sugar. I've dropped a little weight from FEP, but I'm still over by a few pounds. My run technique has improved since doing FEP, as we're only doing 400s or less as our cardio training. My PFA should be in the next two weeks, so I'll keep everyone updated on that. I don't think I'm completing this as an Excellent, but I'm definitely going to try for it.

Weighed in at 198, passed tape. I think this one's going to be 1 out of 3 completed, with a failed main quest. I'll find out Monday.
