This is just to have a little fun, and to keep ourselves motivated.  No points will be awarded, and you're welcome to participate or not.  It really is just so that we have something to do until the next challenge begins. This is open to anyone in any guild who is looking for something to do.

 

Everyday for the next 10 days, I'm going to give you a little challenge to do throughout the day. All exercises will be something you can do anywhere and you can elect to do whichever, none or all of the exercises.

 

Day 1: Pushups

Day 2: Jumping Jacks

Day 3: Squats

Day 4: Mountain Climbers

Day 5: Lunges

Day 6: Walk a mile

Day 7: Wall Sits

Day 8: Rowing

Day 1: Pushups

Today your task will be to incorporate 20 pushups into your schedule. You can do them in as many sets as you'd like, any style that your comfortable with and at any point in your day. Just remember to challenge yourself and make sure you've done the end of your day.

This will be easy... my YAYOG workout for today is push tabatas so 20 sec work and 10 sec break for 4 minutes of waist height push ups... there will be way more than 20. I'm going to aim for at least 8/round (12/round is the goal) and will edit with the deets tonight.

Ha, didn't even know this thread was here... I did 30 earlier today while I was watching TV. Plus some tricep-dips from the couch, and some sit-ups because I was bored. I had originally planned this as a rest day after my trip, and I certainly didn't do any kind of intense workout, but I just felt like I had to do something...

Just did 20 while my lunch (broth) warmed up in the microwave

20 pushups (on the FLOOR, no less) done in 4 sets of 5 while watching MST3K and cooking egg muffins and salmon patties.

Your task today is to incorporate 2 sets of 20 jumping jacks.  You can do the sets right after one another or one set now and one later, just as long as you get in 2 sets.  If you struggle with jumping jacks then you're welcome to split the 40 out over more sets.

Now to find someplace with no students . . . 

 

 

I get looks anyway, being the American, so I don't need to exacerbate by jumping about in front of them

Later: found an empty classroom and did all 40 in a row! I swear, these are easier than they used to be. I guess that Stamina training by running the last 6 weeks has paid off!

Your task today is to incorporate 20 squats into your day.  You can do this in as many sets as you want, in any variation that you're comfortable with.

Day 4: Mountain Climbers

Today your task is to do 2 sets of 30s mountain climbers. If 30 secs is too much, then try 4 sets of 15 sec.
