Wildross: the double nickle challenge

For all you whippersnappers, the double nickle was what we called the Federally mandated 55 MPH speed limit, which was a root of all sorts of disrespect...but I digress.

 

I turn 55 shortly before the end of this challenge.  I will (barring injury or illness)

 

- participate with and support my fellow nerds and nerdettes at the Boston Fenway Spartan Sprint in November

- participate in the Florida Sunshine Games Powerlifting meet on December 6th.

- complete a GoRuck light in Ft Myers on December 20th.  

 

That should make for a nice celebration.

 

In the meantime I'm also doing this travel... 

Sunday 11/3 to Friday 11/7 Baltimore, to Tyson's Corner for 3 days of training to Philly for a customer meeting back to Baltimore and home
Tues/Wed 11/11-12 on site at a customer in Oldsmar, FL
Thurs/Mon 11/13-17 Boston for the Spartan Sprint
Monday 11/17 to Thursday 11/20  Tampa to Denver to Atlanta to Orlando.  Yep, fly back from Boston and just stay at the airport.
Friday/Saturday 12/5-6 or 7 Ft Myers, FL for Powerlifting meet
Saturday/Sunday 12/20-21 Ft Myers, FL for GoRuck light with Wufkar.
 
I'm also committing to totalling my workouts like I was
Continuing my burpee and stairs training
I am aiming for 420# squat, 345# bench and 435# deadlift at the meet as well....

I read this as being separate from the lines following. So it sounded like "I'll turn 55 at near the end of this challenge, unless I die." Technically true, but morbid.

 

I'm pretty impressed by all of the things you have coming up in the next few months. I start to feel overwhelmed if I have one fitness event coming up, and those are like fun 5k runs.

Where's your first challenge workout? Pre-challenge challenge workout. Mines in, you're behind!

No workout this morning because 6:55AM flight.  Also no breakfast so there is that.  And the plane has working wifi (duh).

 

Tried to add my picture of Cline and Spousal Unit but Tapatalk has apparently changed the way it does pictures (again).  Told me to upgrade, but there is no upgrade in the play store....bad.

cline is a myth.  nothing cline does is real.

I agree with CM! I can't believe how much traveling you do, yet you always make your workouts happen!

Thanks...but not always.  I still miss way too many opportunities to work out and find too many to eat...

Just because you're not perfect doesn't mean you're not doing a good job of it. It doesn't always have to be perfect just consistent on an average.
