Well, this week is not working out so well.  All the hassles getting back from Boston meant I had to cancel my trip to Denver...which is now going to have to happen in December.  Then I went to Atlanta for 3 meetings.  First one the customer never confirmed the address (they have at least 3 in Atlanta)...so we went to the wrong place, and will have to reschedule.  Second meeting was canceled while I was on my way to the first meeting.  All the flights are booked, plus the cancelations didn't happen til after lunch, so I'm paying for the room regardless.  Had a good meeting with my boss though...probably will get to talk to him some more tomorrow as well.

 

Sometimes, the cookie crumbles in a mess on the floor.

My GoRuck GR1 with 6 bricks brings me up to 285# and 65% of that is 182# which is way more than 50% of my 1 RM for bench of 325# so pushups are on for the challenge!!

That over-confident article. It took me about four times to get through the whole thing. Probably because the truth was too much to take! 

 

Congrats on the Spartan. That meetup looked crazy awesome. I wish I could have crashed it!

Boston was fun...like finding out that Google leads you to the South Train Station via the freeway tunnel...with no exit.

Slept with a heating pad on my lower back...wow, what a difference.  Apparently I overdid the deficit deadlifts 3 weeks or so ago.

 

Monday

Row 5 min 1130 meters
Curl press 10x25,30,35
Bench press 20x135,10x225,5x5x275,5x295,4x295 <- these felt really solid.
Squat 10x45,135,5x225,2x5x315 <- no knee pain or back pain.  But ran out of time

Front squats felt great!  Deadlifts did not.  Not sure what is going on with that.

BP down a bit more at the Dr.  Weight up a bit, but I didn't do my usual of wearing shorts and removing shoes either.

I still think they should have refunded the money. YOU DIDN'T QUIT, THEY DID! but no...Transfer or lose it! .

Still....I'm impressed you are still walking with the ruck! And doing pushups with it! Go YOU!

Awww, I'm sad your GoRuck was cancelled.

 

And they wouldn't refund the money?  Just give you chance to go somewhere else?  That's... poor customer service.

I have not asked about a refund.  Still debating where to transfer, if to transfer, etc.

The usual policy is you can transfer the monetary credit to someone else, or the event credit can stay with you and can be applied to another event.

Next week is Denver for 3 days

Week after that is Dallas for 2 days
