Awesome awesome job Raxie!   Maaaaaan alive, you are doing so well.   You've done such a great job keeping previous challenge motivation going here.   WHILE ON VACATION!

LOL - I had to go there, because I feel like the Dean You're Awesome gif comes up so often, so I expanded on it.   The thing is... you really are doing so awesome!   And your pictures totally made me want to go there, and relive all of Edward Kenway's adventures... because I am a nerd, and I kept seeing assassins and templars in all your pictures. :)

Thanks for sharing Raxie.... made my day!

Haha I haven't played that one yet (just finished Revelations last week... I'm so behind!) butttt I totally know what you mean.  My friend recently traveled to Italy and was showing me pictures and all I could see was assassins scaling all the buildings.

Those pictures!!!!  I am super envious right now.  That looks like a fun and relaxing vacation, plus you stood by most of your challenge rules too :)

Welcome back!  (To the cold dreary snow no less)

Welcome back! Thanks for making our mini challenge even more awesome this week with your pictures!

I was just on some of the L1 threads and noticed you had visited a bunch of them. I wanted to really thank you for taking the time to do that. You never know when you will really make a difference to someone else.

I try every challenge to pop in to a few.  There are too many awesome people attracted to NF to not have to check out the newbies!

Your pictures are great

Thanks :)

So yesterday was a rest day for me. Unplanned, but definitely needed.  I came home, started unpacking, ate dinner, and literally fell into bed at 7:30.  And fell dead asleep, with a comic literally on my face, and then slept through my alarm this morning.

tumblr_m053swLfan1qzt1yyo1_500.gif

(can't resist... I didn't realize how many Griswold family gifs there were on the internet until this challenge)

Clearlyyyy I was super exhausted from my vacation and didn't even realize.  I can say with certainty I hit my sleeping goal hahaha. I do feel super refreshed today though.

I did go for a walk at work yesterday so even though I haven't gotten back into my 30 day challenges yet, I did get my movement in for the day.  No meditation, though.  Butttt I think I'm going to switch that goal to 5 days a week.  I'm starting to get a little stressed about doing it every day and that's exactly opposite the point of doing it.  So, yeah.

I haven't foam rolled yet this week.  Better get on that.

You just reminded me to foam roll!

Thanks!

Nice. Hope it wasn't too painful lol

Wow, amazing trip! I'm planning to go to Jamaica in January - so excited!!

Great job on keeping up with the spirit of the challenge while you were gone!! :)

Oooh I bet that's going to be awesome!  Get ready for some hot weather lol

Xena and Nordic are totally correct. I know I've gotten good morale bumps from when you drop in my thread, which really helps ^_^

Keep on being awesome!

Week 3 already? What is happening?

I ended up not going to my friend's over the weekend, because I needed a weekend to relax and clean.  This upcoming weekend is Thanksgiving and camping!  I'll probably be MIA after Wednesday (again).

Good news: I am thus far stress free. I haven't gotten back into my 30 day challenges yet, but I have been walking a lot. Also my foam roll was painfullllll last week so I have been stretching a little more and staying away from the strength stuff for a bit.  After Thanksgiving weekend I'll be in tip top shape to dive back into that. Other good news, I did a deep conditioning treatment on my hair Saturday.  Hooray pampering!  Also I hung out with my snake a bit. I'm super glad I pushed my meditations back to 5 days a week, I feel much less overwhelmed by them now and I think I'm back in the groove in that area.

Bad news: My eating has been... not so great. And not even on purpose not great.  Just, oh food look at that lemme eat you for no reason not great. And being that this week is Thanksgiving I am not sure how much that's going to improve.  But Thursday night I'm going away on a camping adventure for 3 nights and will only have freeze dried food to eat.  Which really is quite healthy shockingly so I at least know this weekend is covered :) Going away so much has kind of screwed me over... I've had trouble grocery shopping for only a few days a week and not letting things go bad (I lost some asparagus and green beans to the evil waited-too-long-to-use monster last week :( ).  Can't wait until my schedule gets a little less hectic.

Week 2:

Move. 7/7

Meditate. 5/5

Eat. 3/7 (ouch) -4 points

Clean. 5/5

Sleep. 5/5

Foam Roll. 2/2

Duolingo. 4/4

Lumosity. 4/4

Bonus. +2 points

Total Points: 197

Your eating will get back on track once the holidays and travel settle down, I think! I try my best too when I'm not home but, especially when traveling!, things can get out of control.. sometimes you just gotta do your best :)

You must be living in my house, these are so spot-on.  Stay strong.  We shall overcome.

Have fun camping.  Watch out for the stirges.

We shall!

Coincidentally my DM just had us fight a whole bunch of stirges in my d&d group. Also oddly enough I got pretty bitten up in the Carribbean. They're out to get me! Though I think up in the Adirondacks where I'm going, they'll be at bay since it's supposed to be below freezing.

Oh also... I just did some quick number crunching and everyone keep your fingers crossed that all the spots aren't gone by the time I get paid in December because if there are I will be putting down a deposit for Camp NF then!!!

YAY CAMP!!!! Omg.  I would love to meet you for real!  :)

I find it's hard to stay on top of eating if you aren't home.  I've been lucky in that my bf has been gone a lot, so I don't go out much lately!  Have fun camping! :)

This week must have been the FOOD DEMON week.  Every thread I pop in on, people struggled with the foods.    Me?  I ate an entire chocolate orange ball in one sitting.  Yup.  15 minutes - 960 calories of chocolate.  BOOM!  Gone.

But outside of the food, you're still ACING EVERYTHING girl!

Look at the positives, use them to motivate you on the harder parts.

I would keep my eye out in any case -- some DMS like to apply templates to their monsters, and a frost stirge would be especially difficult unless you have fire magic at your fingertips.
