Week 1, Thursday (dip day)

Dip challenge, part 2: 25, 25, 25, 25 = 100 weighted dips (12 kg weight in my backpack)

200 done, 800 to go. But I have to watch my form more closely. At times, I wasn't going down the whole way.

Planks:

Front plank with right knee to my chest = 1 minute

Side plank with one leg in the air, left side = 30 seconds

Side plank with one leg in the air, right sie = 10 seconds (wtf?)

Front plank with left knee to my chest = 50 seconds

They are harder than I would have imagined, especially the side planks. I'm trembling all the time and I make strange noises ("hnnnnnnghhhnnnghh"). 8[

50 diamond push ups. Boy. I'm kind of proud. I'm kind of dead too, but mostly proud.

Planks:

Front plank with right knee to my chest = 1 minute (My thoughts: Huh? That can't be that easy?)

Side plank with one leg in the air, left side = 30 seconds (My thoughts: Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god, oh my god...)

Side plank with one leg in the air, right sie = 25 seconds (Thoughts: aaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh)

Front plank with left knee to my chest = 1 minute (At this point I competely stopped thinking, because I was SO busy trembling like a leaf)

This needs work. I propably looked like an earthquake doing planks... 8[

Haha, I have those same thoughts doing planks. Have you tried alternating left arm up, right leg up, switch to right arm up, left leg up for a minute on front planks? I'm always proud of myself if I can manage not to fall over for more than 10-15 seconds at a time.

Thank you =)

Week 2, Monday (Best of-day)

Chin ups:

21,18,16

Pull ups:

18,16,15

Diamond push-ups:

50,50,50

Leg raises:

16,16,16

Tree trunk lifting (big one)

17,17,17

Calf raises

40,40,40

Oh, and I carried a (pretty big) tree branch up and down my hill again. Piece of cake... *cough*

Funny, the diamond push ups are getting easier and easier, while the chin- and pull ups are as hard as ever. I'll start adding weights in my backpack, as soon as I'm up to 20,20,20 again.

Hobby:

I did a few more pages for my sketchbook projekt. That makes fifteen altogether. More to come.

Week 2, Tuesday (Dip day)

I wasn't happy with my form last week, so I decided to not add any weights in my backpack until I got this right. And it went much better today than last week.

Dip challenge, part 2: 20, 20, 20, 20, 20 = 100 weighted dips (12 kg weight in my backpack) (two or three minutes rest)

300 done, 700 to go.

Planks:

Front plank with right knee to my chest = 1 minute

Side plank with one leg in the air, left side = 35 seconds

Side plank with one leg in the air, right sie = 15 seconds

Front plank with left knee to my chest = 30 seconds

And I finished three more pages for my sketchbook.

Nicely done, mon ami! I wonder, for your side plank fun if you'd see different results by going Right, Left instead of vice versa. My workout buddy and I did side planks the other day and switched it up like that. It helped. Just a thought.

Keep up the ridiculous epic workouts!

Week 2, Wednesday (push up-day)

Ouch.

Thank you both :)

Week 2, Thursday ((Die) another dip day)

Dip challenge, part 2: 25, 25, 25, 25 = 100 weighted dips (12 kg weight in my backpack) (two or three minutes rest betw.)

400 done, 600 to go.

That went well. I think I can add another kilo next week.

Planks:

Front plank with right knee to my chest = 1 minute

Side plank with one leg in the air, right side = 30 seconds

Side plank with one leg in the air, left sie = 30 seconds

Front plank with left knee to my chest = 43 seconds

I followed Lauras advice and switched the side planks. This time I did the right side first and it helped a lot. I have no Idea why, but I managed to do 30 seconds both sides this time. (Although I'm still trembling like a greek bankmanager, while doing the planks)

Fantastic! I'm glad it helped! I'm not sure why it helps either (I could probably BS my way through and explanation that would sound good, though)... but it does!

I think it's about time you go from Diamond Pushups to Jumping Jack Pushups. ;D

Huh. Had to google it. They look... intense. That would be a good exercise for my next challenge :)

No real news on my sketchbook project. I have 22 pages done, but I didn't find any time to do more during the last three days. Life is really hectic at the moment :/
