I am planning to go at least one way south and then north (so through tenn etc and go up indiana the LONG direction so childofscorn and peeps we could plan a visit) and then go across ohio and come down the eastern seaboard (so I could totally plan stops and whatnot)I will plan a day trip to chicago POSSIBLY a day trip up into michigan...I just requested vacation time and all this planning is tentative until it is approved for certain... but lets talk nerdcation 2015!!! I'm still on ten pounds restriction on my left hand. ... put my right hand on the hood of her car. ... and pushed. ... It's ALMOST all the way in the spot and these two men cone around the corner ands ask if I need help. ... alienjenn Posted January 12, 2015 Author Report Share Posted January 12, 2015 today and stuff Lunches for the week... burger 2# and shredded veggiescarrots 1# bagradish small bag... 1/4#?onion 1 ressweet potato 2 med can of chopped maters and topped with plantains (4 ripe) that were fried in coconut oil and sprinkled with chili pepper browned the meat... added the maters and shreddy veggies and spices (cumin, salt pepper garlic, chili powder,allspice) mixed that all up and put it in the pan... had a tiny smidge of apple butter left so I put it on top... fried up the plantains... and then arranged em all pretty baked it all at 350 for 45 min planning of the nerdcationlooks like 29 Marchchicago.... I will be taking the train in... and hanging out... (probably will get an 0930 train in... not sure of arrival time) and leaving 2115, 2315 or 0045 depending on how much fun we can get up to (if I didn't tag you it doesn't mean I forgot you.... just where you live ) Shakespeare is shredding sweet potatoes for me.... Ezra is praying he drops them today's workout... plank walks (I saw a video... I might have to make a video because I can't find one that looks like the one that I saw to demonstrate) and a 10 minute walk and since I felt like 6 min of plank work and a 10 min walk wasn't enough... when I folded the last load of laundry I did a squat every time I got in the dryer and took out one piece of laundry at a time... and it was whites which means socks and undies... alienjenn Posted January 13, 2015 Author Report Share Posted January 13, 2015 updates from today... mostly reposting from facebook I just wanna brag on my group a little bit...on 8 Dec we started a workout group... everyone paid into the group... and we made a plan to workout EVERY day... even if it's something minor (like a 30 min walk)... we gave ourselves 8 free days to use throughout the 2 month challenge... after the free days every missed workout comes with a penalty in the form of more money to pay...since the 8th of dec... my group of 8 has logged 219 workouts... in just over 5 weeks... some of us are walking... some of us are doing hula hoops... we are all doing fantastic things...we are going to start Heroes 2.0 on 15 Feb... you should consider joining us!! we are having a lot of fun supporting each other and just getting fit and active! ============== TODAY!!! I actually made it twice... just not when anyone was videoing the first time I got it I stood there in a low squat for a couple seconds before I could stand the second time I got it I stood up right way and overbalanced and stumbled and hurt my toe and almost fell off the other side... ==================== and then we had a discussion about taking videos/lots of pics... the reason *I* do it... is to watch my progress... and to show people that you don't have to be "skinny" to do awesome things... because a LOT of people feel like they have to be "fit enough" to try yoga... or strength training... and that's why they don't start... but my point is that any one can do it.. but mainly because I like to inspire myself... when I feel down or like I suck... I look at comparisons... handstands at the beginning versus now... climbing now versus then... and it REALLY makes me feel amazing\ and really... that's why YOU need to do it too!! It was super hot at jump pre workout... Trying the coffee with coconut oil thing. ... we shall see. ... I'm undecided Pwo snack while I wait for food to cook. alienjenn Posted January 13, 2015 Author Report Share Posted January 13, 2015 attempting to be an adult tonight I am going through the mail... found TWO different checks in the giant pile... one for 24$ from sept... and one for 77$ from oct... unopened...I know what I need to do with the mail I just HATE too and so I toss it in a pile on the counter... I really shouldn't do that I tackled the dryer pile... unfortunately I didn't get a "before"... but this... is the done pile this WAS all one pile... that there in the back... was garbage... duplicates and whatever... I had all these unopened things... sigh the pile on the right was bills... so I spent like 5 min and made a google sheet and a form to put info into it... making an inventory of what I owe so that I can pay it off... they are now ready to be trashed... sigh... I have put that off for MONTHS because I haven't wanted to spend the hour doing that... I spent some time working with mint to categorize the bills and whatnot... I am working to get my budget in place so that I can start saving!!! I hope that's not creepy. But: 1. Can you get a very low limit credit card and use it ONLY for gas, and pay it off every month? That will help your credit score improve. They key is seriously: only has (because it's routine and a well understood monthly amount) and for real, pay it off. 2. Re mail and systems. Apartment therapy has a bunch Of posts on "landing strips" (https://www.google.com/search?q=apartment+therapy+landing+strip&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&hl=en&client=safari) that are a way to set up your entry to process shies, jackets, and MAIL. one thing we did was put a small filing cabinet with a shredder on top near the front door. The idea is you walk in, open mail, shred the junk, file the FYI, and you'll have much smaller actionable set of mail remaining. MOST of my credit dings are from past due and things in collection... I have a plan in place to start paying those off 2) all the mail/papers go on the dryer... I don't like it... the stitches on the first bit (the downward part of the top swirl the botom of the letters and the inside part of the bottom swirl...) are all uneven I like the rest though... I almost want to rip it out and start again...
