Hey, dear Accountafloobityflingits!

 

It's week 4! Recruits, have you levelled up?

 

What's your favourite new recipe you've learned this challenge? Or your favourite new quick, healthy meal?

 

Mine's probably peach crumble. Couple of fresh peaches, a drained can of apple slices, topped with margarine rubbed together into crumble with an equal volume of a mix of stevia, ground almonds, and coconut flour, with a good pinch of nutmeg. Go easy on the crumble topping, and bake for half an hour at 200oC.

Scores!!

 

Team 1: 8.9kg total lost, 20.1%

Team 2: 8.4kg total lost, 30.2%

 

Team 2 zooming out ahead on the percentages, but with Team 1 still having the edge on the higher total loss, with SarahSmall kicking the most butt in Team 1 and LadyShello in Team 2 completely annihilating everyone else's scores this week! Woot!

 

If, like me, you're still stuck at zero, have no fear! It's not all about the number on the scale, and all those freggies, all that water, all that hard work is making your body grateful on the inside!

I'm officially a level 1 recruit! And I even have stat points :)

No weight loss (but no weight gain too!).

Measured myself yesterday. Lost some cm from my chest :( and from my calves. Gained cm around my arms (push ups :) ) and gained around my waist :( 

Couldn't place the extra cm around my waist until I got my period this morning, so I'm going to measure myself again next week and hoping it will be better.

Yay Sarah! Congrats on the scales playing nice for once! 

 

I did naughties and weighed in yesterday (whole30 and your rules be damned!) and I lost 2 lbs last week. Updating the spreadsheet now, let's go team 1!

Had a good week, on track with my long-term average (.6 kg lost). It seems unlikely I'll hit my goal for the challenge unless I have a crazy downward spike to exceed the crazy upward spike in week 1, but that's OK. I'm happy with the way things are going, and found a new thing (yoga) to add to my routine. Also did some introspection and figured a few things out, which will help going forward. It's been a good challenge so far, here's hoping that continues.

 

And now it's off to the gym for Medium Day. Have a good one, everyone.

I have been slow with the updates due to work and life. I'm still counting calories and tracking workouts, however I have not been updating my page too often. I weighed myself this morning and have lost a total of 3.7 lbs! Hopefully with two more good weeks I can reach my goal of 5 lbs! I will then be close to my starting weight of my first challenge! The good news is that I don't have any major life changes coming up in the next year or two, so I will keep on exercising and keep on losing weight and being healthy!

Another half-kilo down this week, which is cool. But I'd have to more than double that in the last week to make my target for this challenge. As I'm not planning to make any drastic changes, that's unlikely to happen. I'm going to have to review my calorie tracking and targets, figure out whether I've got my calories set too high for the weight loss rate I'd like to maintain or it's a matter of not recording things properly.

 

I'm otherwise pretty happy with the way 2015 is going so far. Let's all end this challenge on a high note!

I've been away from here for a while. Needed to examine why I couldn't stick to my goals anymore. Found some useful things, and I'm back :) (See my personal 6wc tread)

So, here at the end, or close enough to see it at least. I've just made my challenge results post in my own thread. To summarize, it went pretty well, even if I didn't ping the scale quite as low as I wanted to. I've updated the spreadsheet with my final results.

 

I hope everybody else had a great challenge, this was my first time in one of these groups and it made for a pretty cool experience. Thanks for having me!

Hey Doodlies!!

 

We did it! Woot! (Sorry I didn't post that when the challenge actually ended, Things keep happening!)

 

Going to head over to the next challenge forum and start a new thread for this group - instead of tracking weight loss, I think it'd be a much better measure of our progress if we recorded how closely we stick to our challenge goals. And I'm guessing we'll probably need split into teams again, but I think we can probably split on about Day 2 and sort anyone who comes in after that between groups.

Can't believe the challenge has finished!! I've explained all in my personal challenge thread... But thanks for being my accountabillybuddies guys - I might have gone AWOL but you all offered a really brilliant little support group for me to come back to and you're epic people.
