For 2015 I'm going to be the best me I can be! I've fallen prey weight gain due to injury last year.

 

Now I'm going to get back to what brought me the best results - running and cleaning up the diet.

Quest 1 - Ramp up the Mileage (+2 Sta, +2 Dex)

My ankle is way better so now its time to get back to running.  I'm hoping to get back to running 30+ miles a week, but I'm definitely not there yet so we'll see about getting back to 15 miles a week.

A - 15+ miles a week

B - 10-14 miles a week

F - less than 10 miles a week

 

 

Quest 2 - Ditch the Booze (+2STA +2CON)

As of late I've been drinking more than I should and honestly it has been seriously holding back my progress. It's time to hold off on the beer and get things sorted. 

 

A - 0 drinks a week

B - 1-2 drinks a week

F - more than 2 drinks a week

 

Quest 3 - Clean up the Diet (+2 Con, +1 Wis)

The wife is doing a serious change thanks to her getting into the 6-2-6 program at boot camp and I'm along for the ride. Getting details on this meal shift soon but it's going to be tough.

 

A - 0 cheat days a week

B - 1-2 cheat days a week

F - More than 2 cheat days a week

I like your challenge, S. Really clear and direct. I know the food change will be a major shift, but I think maybe you're ready for it. Sounds like you are.

Had a double helping of egg white oatmeal this morning and I'm happy with that. Tracking all my fooding in MFP so that's helping. Hoping to get my calorie goal for today!

Busting this challenge all up in the first three days!? Wow toledo! Nice mileage.

Hoping to get in a couple of miles today ... the 1°F this morning really put a damper on the AM run plan.

Thanks! Honestly the dragon was a impromptu thought and I'm THRILLED at how it turned out. I played with the background and pretty much all my settings :)

I skipped the beer as I'll probably have it when I go out with the wife tomorrow. I had corned beef and cabbage (and potatoes and carrots) which fits 99% into the food plan I'm currently on ... so yay! 

 

Was under a 140ish calories so I had a protein bar when I got home.

Do you have any train yards nearby? Or iron bridges? I love photographing metal. Maybe some interesting frosted windows (real frost that is). Hum...? You'll find something cool, I'm certain.

My issues with MFP is when I go out ... if I cooked the food its easy to get the right estimate but restaurants are tough.

 

 

Do you have any train yards nearby? Or iron bridges? I love photographing metal. Maybe some interesting frosted windows (real frost that is). Hum...? You'll find something cool, I'm certain.

I actually have a train museum, though I don't think they'll let me use it for my friend shoot. 

 

No real frost around me currently ... strangely and thankfully the rain/snow/sleet has stayed away.

No run today but I did go for a walk with the wife which was nice as she's been away on business all week. Guess I'll so 4.5-5 miles tomorrow.

Just finished a 4.48 miler in HILLS ... pace was a blitz at 10m20s /sarcasm. Had to walk a short section but I made my goal with a day to spare

Quest 3 - Clean up the Diet

Was good yesterday and was JUST short of my calorie goal by 100ish calories. Running makes me crazy hungry so I snagged the protein bistro box and a soy latte while waiting on the wife to finish her 6-2-6 workout.

It was the ONLY color my wife would consider ... I love it ... he's name is Hobbes for the obvious reason

 

Stop it, you're making me think about my next Subaru, but I'd like my 2003 Outback to last another couple of years! ;-)

I'd say I'm sorry but that would be a lie. Though definitely keep the Outback a while longer - the CrossTrek replaced the Outback Sport in my opinion.
