That is so badass, wearing a weight vest. Very traditional-style training, or so anime tells me.

 

Have you been dealing with any more trouble in your back with the vest on?

back is no worse than a heavy lifting session now. I was basically flexing my traps all day to help hold the vest so they are sore. I hit a few quick sets of shurgs at a light weight (75lbs) and they feel looser now. Its all good. taking the weekend easy. tring to determine if I want to swim or run tomorrow. Actually I think tomorrow will be a weight training day. yep decision has been made. weights in the am then a few rounds with the punching bag after work.

Holy weightloss, Batman! That is a crazy amount of loss in a short period of time. Like you said a chunk is probably water weight, but damn if that still doesn't give you a good number at the end of the day.

And that weighted best is crazier. I'm assuming you're up and active most/all of the day with that sucker on and not at a desk, right?

Also your plan for tomorrow is a win. Weights >>>>>> running. Hands down.

Well this has just been an absolute shit-show of a day. I got some good sleep last night. Got up this morning, ate breakfast, got all my gym stuff together, and then realized I had locked my keys in my truck. I spent the next 2.5 hours attempting to break into my vehicle. Still didn't get it. Ended up calling my assistant manager for a ride, now waiting for the wife (who has had an absolute shit day) to come to the bank and pick me up so I can go back home and get my vehicle. Then she is going to a friends house tonight. Positive side is that I can now go to the gym after work for as long as I want and don't need to worry about when I get home.

Ugh.   Some Mondays are definitely full blown chaotic evil.     Hang in there PW.   Every hero has to conquer some of these baddies.

Soooooo I got some explaining to do. Instead of taking all of the craziness yesterday and turning it into a kick ass work out, I played video games and ate pizza L. My wife was out for the night at a friend's house, SOOOO I took the opurtunity to get a kind of pizza that I love and she doesn’t like (large bacon and cheese stuffed crust, chicken supreme with honey siracha drizzle from pizza hut, with a side of honey bbq wings). Then sat my butt down to do some "research" for GameStop…AKA played 4 solid hours of GTA 5. I know I was a bad pwallace L.

 

Anywho. I got back onto the paleo and workout wagon today. Actually got an amazing night sleep last ngiht (I think I went into a carb coma) Got up, at the last piece of my Paleo breakfast bake.  Cleaned up, did the dishes, cleaned the living room, got my stuff together and hit the gym for 1hour (wish it was longer but times and blah blah blah.) The cardio portion of my workout I was happy with. However I do not like the weight section. 1) the have a smith machine. 2) they have roughly 350lbs in free weights THAT IS IT! Then they have the old school nautilus machines UGH. Anywho will make the best of it. Now I am at work and really have to pee (AGAIN I have already been 3 times since getting here at 9:30) that’s what I get for drinking a bunch of water

I now want to rate my days according to classic D&D alignments. (Yesterday would be Lawful neutral, since I just sat in the juror's room most of the day).

Honestly, I don't think the occasional pizza and gaming binge is bad. Just as long as it doesn't define you and you get right back on track with what you were doing the next time.

 

Seriously, though, you should look into doing calisthenics. With that weighted vest and everything? Damn, son. You'd have a heck of a time on your hands.

Stair stepper untill my ass goes numb (or it's time to go to work either way works) now for sleeps

So my plan to get up tho morning and workout did not go the way I wanted it to. In bed around 10, wife gets a call around 1030 about work.

( time for back story, my wife works as an overnight supervisor at a residential housing Unit for mentally ill sexually abused and behaviorally disturbed boys. I used to be a supervisor there.) Well turns out that the big wigs over at the residential unit has been screwing with their schedules and she may now have to drive an extra 45 minutes before and after her 10 hour shift. That puts her commute at 90min each way. And they want her to work daytime instead of nights. When my wife said she would prefer not to, the director sent out an email basically saying "too bad if you want to stay employed then you will so what we tell you to do." I HATE this woman. She is one of those women that has gotten to a position of pore and now for some reason is a bitch to prove a point.

Anyways, slept in later than I had planned due to not sleeping well because I was so riled up about her work bullshit. Woke up groggy and in a haze. Coming out of it now but I open today so I has to be at the bank in an hour. Good news is that I am out at 4:30 today, so I am going to hit the gym and do my craziness tonight.

Morning break down

Got up,

did dishes

made breakfast (3 egg scramble with spinach and cheese), 2 asiago and pepper chicken sausages

packed up lunch

Went to walmart to get a fitbit (they don't have them so to order them on amazon now)

went to gym

kicked own ass in 30 minutes (didn't think it was possible)

now at work

 

Workout consisted of

Situps 31

Pushups 15, 15, 6

Tredmill .75miles in 10 minutes (I really need to up that speed, goign to start up zombies run 5k trainer again.)

Gravitron (assited pullup machine) 25 reps at lifting 25lbs

stair stepper for 5 minutes as a cool down.

 

Going to put together a better workout routine today/tonight.

Oh the DOMS! Killed my abs yesterday. And I can really feel it today. I can only imagine what tomorrow will be like I kind of went to the gym and obliterated them again I think the next time I have to use the bathroom is really going to suck. My workout was

Bench Machine

10 reps at 50 pounds

10 reps at 70 pounds

10 reps at 90 pounds

Like press single leg

10 reps at 120 pounds

8 reps at 1:50 pounds

8 reps at 1:55 pounds

Single leg curl

8 reps at 50 pounds

8 reps at 70 pounds

Next game abs I did heels to heaven X sit ups and plank. These were a circuit so I did one set of skills to heaven one set up X set ups one set of plank and then went back to the beginning

Heels to heaven

8, 8, 12

X sit up

10 each side, 8 each side, 10 each side

Plank

27.3 sec,40.47 sec, 37 sec

Hit some curls just to work the arms quick 1 set of 10 reps at 25lbs

And then some shrugs 1 set of 8 at 135 just to loosen up the traps.

Ended with hitting the treadmill for 20 minutes, went .86 miles (I decided to go back to the zombies 5k trainer) elevation ranged from 3 to 12% so my calfs will feel it tomorrow

Well last night was a killer workout I worked all day got out of work at 5:30 headed over to the gym was there until about 745 so it's pretty good here so I did

And my legs were cramping at the end of workout today. I mean like every step threatened to make me fall. Did the second workout from the Zombies Run 5k trainer. Slowest mph was 3.5, fastest was a 7mph sprint for 1 minute 30 seconds

did a quick routine this morning (not sure if I will be able to get one in tonight cause the wife is coming back home.)

Stretch

10reps of LJab/RCross/LHook Drop to a Burpee (thats one rep)

10 reps of LJap/RCross/LHook/Right Round House, Drop for 1 body weight squat (thats one rep)

next came 2 one minute rounds of hands up and keep going

Jab Cross x 15

Body Shots x25 (thanks for the inspiration Cheechoe)

Round 2

Jab/Cross/LBS/RBS (BS= Body Shot) for 1 minute. just back to back.

holy crap I am tired!

 

I know this was a very quick workout, but it was done at super fast speed (as fast as I could go with good form) And I have wokred up a great sweat. Time to shower and do dishes then off to work
