It would be poor form to say you should cool down a bit.

 

Still, I can only imagine how frustrating that's got to be up there right now. :( Between the weather, the job, the car, and the pup, yeah, I'd say it's pretty hectic right now.

 

I don't really have any advice. I'm sorry, man, I wish I did. There's not a lot we can do from here to be useful to you, but if you wanna come here to vent and get some sympathetic ears, I think we'll all be glad to do that for you.

I'm in a better space now. I think I was overtired and needed to crash hard. Sorry about the swearing and hostile language. Basically I was overwhelmed by life and wanted to curl up into a ball and hide. I'm better now. Still need to shovel out the cars and head to work. Gym after work, then home to relax

What can I say, rage makes for good lifts.

 

Glad things you've managed to relax a bit.  Make it through work, rage through your lifts, and feel like a bad ass again.  Maybe get to bed early to help with the overtired bit. (Badasses need sleep, too.)

AND I am feeling much much better today. didn't work untill 12:30 this afternoon, so I was up at 6:30, hung out with my pup (who was a raging dick. he is teething and was biting everything!. once he got tired out he was good.) ate breakfast then headed over to the gym where I concentrated on my back and chest today (body weight)

I figured out the gravitron maching yesterday so now I am actually doing good pullups and hitting my entire back. After like 6 my shoulders are on fire! (weight assisted. I am lifting roughly half of my body weight.) Did some pushups, then ran.

Also Got a new Fitbit last night. by the end of my run I was already at 7500 steps! booya!

Agreed. Rage is good if you can channel it right. Otherwise, it just clouds things.

Hey there my friend.    Let's see if I can keep coherent through the whole post.

 

1) The pup & the bathtub.   OMG TOTES ADORBS.  I seriously keep watching it.   He is a total cutie, even if he's being a teething dick right now.

2) Cracks me that you called your pup a dick.  Hehehe.  It was like, I for that moment, imagined you, saying in Dean voice, to the pup.  "Dude, seriously.  Can you stop being a dick for a minute?"

3) Sometimes we just hit that point where we're overwhelmed.  It doesn't matter if they are 'trivial' or stupid or whatever else.   If they've managed to get us to a point of flustered, then we are flustered.    And it's okay to realize you hit that point and vent it out.  My go to phrase was always, "Fuck this, I'm gonna move to Idaho and herd sheep."

4) Glad to hear you are getting into a better groove.   You have a lot going on.  New pups are like babies.  LOTS of time and energy getting expended on them even if you don't really realize it.  Plus, your goals and thoughts on your upcoming transitions, and general winter suckiness.   

 

You're doing well PW!   Cut yourself some slack.

This evenings workout. It nearly killed me t times but was great. Showed me that I really need to work on my side kicks due to my hip flexors being really right durring it. (Side note: if anyone wanted to link me cheecoe's hip stretch thread you will forever earn a place in neerddom heaven from me)

In the workout it says 40 reps for rah exercise. I took that as 40 reps for each side. Would you agree. (I even did that for the punches in the beginning. Jab/cross = 1 rep

AND today has been fitness packed! Completed week 3 day 3 of the ZombiesRun 5k trainer. Got roughly 3.093 miles done in 43:35. I stopped multiple times to do 10 knee lifts durring the run each took me about 45 seconds so there is some time right there. Went to work, got my 10 thousand steps for my fitbit around 4pm, then cam home and did this bad boy

I screwed up and instead of doing a minute in between each exercise, I only had 10second rests inbetween exercises. then The wifey was doing the wonderwoman workout and was struggling with motivaition to continue, so I joined in with her to do it. That looked like this

We only made it to the deep lunges before calling it quites (she had gone through once already. Now going to sit down to some steamed veggies and sardines maybe a little bit of chicken and watch a show.

AND no workouts for me today, ran to Wal-Mart on lunch to get some things, and one my way back, I slipped on the ice, hit my left hip on the ice and caught the curb on my left side, in the ribs right under my armpit. Hurts to breath and walk now. Going home from work early as soon as lunches are done. Going to ice and rest for the day. hopefully will feel better tomorrow. Really hope I didn't crack any ribs, cause that will put things on hold for a while if I did
