Hello everyone!

This post is my official reset. I have been on the forums for a year now but I fell off the wagon long ago. Its time to hit the reset button and come out swinging.

I'm 20 years old at 6'0" and ~285lbs with an unknown body fat percentage. Once my body fat caliper comes in I'll measure it. I want to drop those down to 200lbs and 18% respectively. My plan is to begin powerlifting 3 days per week and erging/running on my off days from lifting. I'll be following the paleo diet aside from protein shakes which I've always found to be useful.

I'm not new to fitness but it has been a long time. I want to feel comfortable in my own skin again. I will be joining the current 6 week challenge as soon as life permits. Its good to be back.

I always forget something.  :nonchalance:

Considering what I'm bringing to the table, as the description of this forum says, I'm an experienced rower. I know that very few people are interested in rowing but I would very much like to help anyone that is!

I'd be interested to know what programs you are doing on the Erg. I have never been in a scull, but am the proud owner of a C2 rower that I use every day either to warm up on before lifting or for cardio on the cardio days

mostly I just use a 2k 5k or 6k program ... and may favorite 30:30r where you pull hard for 30 seconds, go slow for 30 in the rest interval and repeat until I feel sick.

I have played with the routines on the C2 site and forums but can never stick to them, so just swap about depending on how much energy I have for that day.

So yeah good luck and any tips on mixing your lifting with erging ?
