Hello fellow Rebels! I think I'm going to try to start 2015 off on the right foot by holding myself accountable for a full challenge. I'm really terrible at finishing challenges, so my first personal goal for 2015 is to ACTUALLY FINISH this challenge.

 

I have four simple goals this time:

 

Fitness Goals

 

1. Track all of my training and food intake into my pretty new journal.

(It's all pretty and official and stuff)

 

2. Do 20 minutes of cardio (elliptical... ugh) 3x per week after training.

 

Life Goals

 

3. 30 minutes of crocheting or personal reading 3x per week (no textbooks).

 

4. FINISH THIS CHALLENGE

 

See? Easy and attainable goals!

 

I'm really excited to be back in the game. I am hoping to kick off 2015 right with this challenge.

Since I'm a notorious mid challenge quitter we should be accountability buddies this go around.

I would like everyone to remind me about how I feel today the next time I want to take 2 weeks off of training...

I didn't make it to cardio... I was sooooooooo tired!!! Looking at my food intake though, it's no surprise. 2000 cal is definitely not enough for a training day!

It's really great. This is the second one I've had and it's just perfect for my needs. I got it on Amazon: AT-A-GLANCE Standard Diary Daily Reminder 2015, 5.75 x 8.25 Inch Page Size, Red (SD389-13)

 

I didn't get one last year because I thought I would do all my recording electronically... yeah, that didn't happen. I gotta have paper and pen, or I won't keep up with it.

I've really got to stop reading other people's food logs, they're making me hungry.  Good news though, carnitas just made my menu for the weekend. 

 

I have better luck tracking my food online than on paper, but I'm much better tracking workouts with a notebook at my side.

Day two:

I had to shove some protein powder down my throat last night because I'm not getting enough protein from food... UGH UGH UGH! If you can't tell, I HATE PROTEIN POWDER! All of it. I don't want it to be a part of my life.

 

But hey, keeping up with tracking and updating you guys! YAY!

 

I'm also getting ready to finish up my first semester back to school (Western Governors University). I got a little nudge from my student mentor that my deadline to take the last assessment is coming up. I was going to take my preassessment tonight, but I went to bed at 10:30 last night and couldn't sleep because I was so worried about school. So, I got up and took the preassessment and passed with flying colors. I was finally able to sleep at 11:30 with that done.

 

So far, things are going well this year! YAY! (I mean, I guess that's how it should be 7 days into the year...)

Tracking going well... Eating? Not so much yesterday, but it's okay. My nephew is in the Navy and was home for a short visit, so we had a big family dinner at a nice Italian restaurant. I don't even care that I ate so much, because it was totally worth it.

Gnocchi is amazing. Little dumplings of awesome (well, potatoes...) and the dessert was pretty amazing!
