Thanks for taking over the reins, I don't think I had it in me to set something up with how BUSY things have been!

 

I too will do my best to check in - I really bottomed out with my accountability groups last challenge, and while I kicked the challenges BUM I might just need to back off of constant online responsibility for a bit, ha!

I had too many groups. It got overwhelming. So, just SkullCrushers and peeps on my Challenge thread. :)

Work got the better of me last time; I was just too busy to be online. I'm expecting to face the same problem this time around, since I'm teaching 2 online classes (for my old university) in addition to my regular job but I really want to be a better accountabilibuddy! I think I'm going to revamp my challenge a bit to try to achieve a better work/life balance.

I'm back too!!! I'm trying to limit my spread some so that I can be a better ambassador this go around but I'll keep checking in here because I LOVE YOU GUYS!!!

 

I'm already crushing most of my goals and sadly still waiting to hear back from the gym. I WANT TO START LIFTING!! Also, I'm tired to the -20 to -35 degree wind chills and want winter to go away!!

SO, new year, new you is a popular phrase. Let's turn it into a question:

 

"What's one change you can make this year that will help you up your "reaching goals" game?

 

For me, it's been setting a REALLY annoying alarm JUST out of my reach and wearing workout clothes to bed on workout days. I HAVE to get up otherwise it's just gonna bug me, and when I'm already up AND in workout clothes, I'm running out of excuses as to why I 'Can't' workout that day.

This challenge I'm doing two things... writing everyday and joining a gym so I can start lifting :D. Gotta keep challenging myself so I can keep progressing!

I think really committing to tracking my quality of sleep and my fibro symptoms on a daily basis would be super helpful. I'm already tracking my workouts and my food, so if I just jot down even a few words about my sleep and how I'm feeling, that would be helpful.

Since this group is organized around smashing skulls, being badass (maybe a tiny bit evil) and owning things, why don't we share a badass skull-crushing moment of our day? Whether its something you guys want to continue is up to you, but I think it would be cool to have an accountability group that is connected by moments of badassery. And interesting to read too

 

I'll go first: Today I learned how to do a spinning kick leading with my lower shin. I might not have been very good but it was verryy satisfying to hear the smack of the boxing bag as if it was crying out in pain :D
