Nubbins McGee
Actually, the protocol I'm doing right now only lets me do legs once a week. I would typically do them twice a week at fewer sets, lower reps, and heavier weights. Today was 10s set of 10 squats @ 155. Full range of motion, ass to ankles (or as close as my body goes). I think I actually did eleven sets. I lost count and wasn't sure if I had just done four or five so I called it four and kept going.10x10 seated calf raises @ 1108 sets of 10 deadlifts @ 185. The part that makes it hard is strict 60 second rest intervals between sets. For the squats and deads I'm at about 50% of my previous 1RM so the first four sets or so are easy. After that the fatigue from the quick turn around sets in and starts making it harder. The last two sets suuuuuuuuuck, but the DOMS is awesome. Quote Did I offer advice in my post? SpecialSundae
I, too, am in this boat. It's a good boat. Walking like Bambi tonight given today was the second day in a row (box squats and RDLs yesterday, overhead and front squat today). Cursing my coach like nothing on earth. My ass looked great though. ;-) 2 Quote Link to comment

Castiel
I'm also on the every day leg day team. Well, three days a week. The guys at my gym give me a hard time about it sometimes, but I seem to have earned their respect with my progress. It's fun. My A workout is the big three in one day. That one leaves me like jelly. theDonnybrook
I am also on the every day is leg day kick, but, as a speed skater, I have this ginormus leg/butt with a skinnier top thing going on. I just started mixing in some upper body (OHPs and chest dips) to even things out. Oddly, all of the strong lifts are really full body exercises, so you get a little bit of everything on a squat and a dead lift. Quote Link to comment

I'm researching and testing out my next strength-based protocol right now and its for this reason i'm edging towards greyskull rather than 5/3/1 Quote Current challenge: http://rebellion.nerdfitness.com/index.php?/topic/70839-bendy-dradis-stands-up-proper/ Link to comment
blackwatch
I'm researching and testing out my next strength-based protocol right now and its for this reason i'm edging towards greyskull rather than 5/3/1I was on 5/3/1 for a year or so. I did make gains, but started to realize that I needed to squat more. Every week was like I'd forget just a little how to squat. I moved over to Madcow and most of it is working for me. Squats are at least feeling more locked in and I am making progress. I switched from low-bar to front squats (when I started madcow) and now high-bar, so I'm still decently below my low-bar numbers. Goals! I've never heard of greyskull, I'm going to go check that out now. Quote Link to comment
