I have kicked my sleep schedule since then and I need to get back on track. Tomorrow's simple goal is to be up at 5 a.m. to get sleeping right again. So first, my daily reading and then bed. Hopefully this kind of laziness won't happen again!The workout today was ridiculous. We did stronglifts 5x5 then a phase 2.Stronglifts portion: Squats- 45.36 kgOverhead Press- 29.48 kgDeadlift- 58.97 kg This was phase 2:10 min of circuit training between the following,20 goblets with a 45 lb (20.4 kg) kettle bell10 burpees with 2 push ups instead of 120 full range situps20 seconds hanging from pull-up bar We completed 2 rounds of this whole phase and added on 20 more push ups the end. I haven't done aerobics for awhile, and so I couldn't decide between passing out or throwing up. Came home and had a peanut butter sandwich, a couple smaller leftover steaks, and a glass of chocoloate milk. This morning:Squat- 22.7 KG (50 lbs)OH Press- 20.4 KG (45 lbs)DL- 43.1 KG (95 lbs) Got help from a guy at our gym majoring in exercise science to check my form. Got my squats corrected to point my toes about 30 degrees out instead of straight. With OH press I got my form corrected so that my elbows are out underneath the bar and my wrists are slightly kicked back. Large, good, filling breakfast afterwards. Time to get my lunch packed and be off to the library to study! I lifted both Monday and today (skipped Wed due to exams, so I just moved it to Thurs. Thanks for looking out for me. I appreciate it. Today's workoutWarmup: empty bar, also to practice form.Squat- 65 lbs.Bench- 55 lbs.Barbell Row- 75 lbs. Sleep has been adequate, but not early, which is when I want to be getting up. Food intake has been alright. Missed a couple meals this week due to sleeping in later. After being sick and then dealing with a bunch of final work for a class I did not lift or run for just over a week. There was a day or two that I did without posting here (sorry for that). I decided to set myself a week back on the weights so that I would not over-lift and pull a muscle since I haven't been in a while. Still working on getting sleep back in order after wrecking it at the end of this past week and into the weekend. This week and past weekend though is off to a good start. I effectively reset my sleeping schedule. Lifting this morning was good. I have to drop back again in weights due to not having lifted for a while. Though I think my six week lifting goal/benchmark will be late in coming I still plan on seeing it through to the end beyond the 6 week deadline (which may have already happened since I haven't been keeping up on here). No matter, I will press on and complete the SL 5x5 beginner's section of 6 weeks at least, then I will hop back on board with all the NF people here. Perseverance is in order I think.
