Strickland5 Keeps It GOING!

Challenge #6 for me ... oh yeah! Let's do this!

 

Quest 1 - Keep up the Mileage (+2 Sta, +2 Dex)

I did well at this last time around and will do my bestest to keep up my miles. 

15 miles worked well last time so let's keep that as our goal!

 

A -  15+ miles a week (+2 Sta, +2 Dex)

B - 10-14 miles a week (+1 Sta, +1 Dex)

F - less than 10 miles a week

 

Quest 2 - Reduce the Booze (+2STA +2CON)

This I COMPLETELY failed at eliminating booze last time around.

So with that knowledge I'm going to set more realistic goals!

 

A - 1-2 drinks a week (+2 Sta, +2 Con)

B - 3-4 drinks a week (+1 Sta, +1 Con)

F - more than 4 drinks a week

 

Quest 3 - Drink more water (+2 Con , +1 Wis)

To get drink less boozes I need to up my water game. SO I'm going to shoot for 16 cups a day... or 112 cups a week 

 

A - 112-84 cups a week (+2 Con, +1 Wis)

B - 83-64 cups a week (+1 Con, +0 Wis)

F - less than 64 cups a week

 

 

Life quest - Socialize with other Photogs! (+2Chr, +2Wis)

I'm going to keep shooting my Project 52, but I need to be more social with my fellow photographers to that end I'll be going to 4 different photography functions over the course of this project.

 

A - Go to 4 functions (+2 Wis, +2 Chr)

B - Go to 3 functions (+1 Wis, +1 Chr)

F - Less than 3 functions

Aw yiss.  Beer can be a toughie man.

I don't know what flipped the switch in my head, but it's just so second-nature for me to have tea or water instead.  Even last night we went to our bottle shop and I stood FOR EV ER in front of the singles cooler making my choice because nothing sounded super appealing.  Maybe I over-indulged too much last year and I'm on a downswing...

 

Either way, you got this!

I failed SO completely on that task the last three weeks or so of the last challenge it was just sad like this ...

I won't lie: I was originally thinking about lowering my alcohol intake per week...and then decided that instead of limiting, I will add more health (veggies).  Mostly cause I'm not ready.

I find that water keeps me fuller more often and does temper my drinking.  Let's say you grab a beer.  Before grabbing another beer, have water instead.  Keeps yourself hydrated and slows down the drinking :).  Awesome quest!

It is POURING here in NC today!  I'm such a weenie when I go running, it can't be too cold or too rainy, which lately, means NEVER!  Rock on! :D

Nice!  I like that you're getting your water on!  Keep it up!  Also great progress bar on the booze!

Thanks! I think doing additive for positive goals and taking away for "negative" goals is a better model ... I'm sure there's science somewhere to agree with me :)

I won't like, I got pretty soaked this morning but if I didn't go out in the AM I wouldn't have this evening ... just so used to working out in the morning that if I don't my day is just meh. Worst part was by the time I was driving to work it had stopped raining completely ... oh well. 

 

The wife is talking about doing kettlebells this evening so we'll see what we see!

With an early morning meeting I had to 86 TRX this morning so I went ran 2.61 miles as it sleeted down. Thankfully the ground in my neighborhood was damp rather than not slick

It snowed here this morning too.. a whole half an inch!!  Of course, the town is mostly shut down.  Now it's raining and hopefully not turning to ice.  Oy vey!
