When I magically get a full time job (and get a bit more self esteem), I want to take pole dancing at this dance studio near me.

I wanted to do the same but there is only one place here and it is super expensive. Plus, my husband isn't thrilled at the idea. Because he knows me, and he knows I would be showing my moves on a random light pole because I have no shame.

Haha, well if you can do it, why not? It would count as practice, right?

Positive things: Working out at home! Omg! No travel time, wearing everything you want or nothing at all go crazy! Zero excuses not to do it. No waiting for the equipment. Awesomeness :D

Negative things: Costs money. But costs less than gym membership in the long run. You need the space. Your room may smell a bit like a gym (the rubber smell of my tiles is just finally starting to get out a little bit). You need to do research to get the proper things. I'd say don't skimp on the safety cage, you want to be safe right?! :D

That remind me of my favorite new webcomic

Negatives - being viewed by people who live in my house. Lack of other kinds of gear I don't know about that might benefit me...

I already have an elliptical and a weight machine I don't use.

Ah, you live in a house with many other people you're not that comfortable around? Then I can definitely understand. I live on my own (well with my boyfriend but that doesn't count) The thing of other gear... It might actually be a good thing. Sometimes it is better to just stick to something instead of keep trying to find some other holy grail of amazingness, even though they may be out there. The best training is the one you actually do! :) Awwww can I have your elliptical? :P

Husband uses the elliptical. He is a lazy beast lately. He thinks calorie counting and four flights of stairs at work is enough.

I have a roommate too. One of those obnoxiously thin people who smokes and lives off pizza. She looks great even though truly she is really weak. She did like ten bodyweight squats with me once and cried about it for two days.

I just get self conscious at home. At the gym I feel like I have some (faux) swagger.

eventually behavior like that will catch up to her, her hormones will betray her, and she'll pack on 50 lbs in a summer. Aside from the smoking, that was me, 20 years ago. When my friends were passing up bread, I was eating ice cream and pizza, and thin as a rail. Then two things happened: I had a hysterectomy and had to start talking a medication that has a weight gain side effect. Boom. 50 lbs. Been fighting those 50 ever since.

Tiny question - accountabilibuddy groups can have mini-challenges, but cannot give out stat points, right? Or can they?

As far as I understand it, correct.  The only way you can earn points is from your own challenge or from guild minis.

Hey there guys,

I know I haven't gotten involved this challenge like i was psyched to do, but I've had some family issues come up that i've been dealing with.

I'll certainly try to pop in from time to time and try to keep with the same goals I was working on last challenge just to keep some kind of momentum going.

I'm rooting for everybody in their challenges! Good luck all!
