I know everyone is two weeks in, but is there room for a latecomer?  We were moving last week and I didn't manage to get a challenge started.  However, I need to get my butt in gear.  That Hero's Journey looks fun - in a painful, sick, and twisted kind of way.  My next belt test is in three months and for once I'd like to make it to the end without praying for death.  ;)

go right ahead. unfortunatly i have fallen off the wagon on doing this. between work craziness, new workout system, and life being hectic I have fallen off the path. I will continue to cheer on the hero's still fighting.

Stillskies: what day are we on? I can try and post the workouts again

Yay!  :)

I SHOULD be able to start tonight.  Graduation night at the dojo means I have to be there and do a demo, but I will likely be home at a reasonable hour.  Wednesdays and Thursdays will be particularly rough to keep up with.  On those days I leave home at 6:30 and don't come home for more than 15 minutes until 9:45 and 8:30, respectively.  (Karate keeps us VERY busy - oldest boys are in 7 classes per week and then assist in a couple more; youngest is in 2-4 classes per week; husband and I are in 6 classes per week and assist in 4 classes each.  Then there's that whole full time job thing.)

I got it done. I was all ready to get in the shower and then go to bed and then I remembered. Made myself get it done, though. I have a question, though:

WHY IN THE NAME OF ALL THAT IS HOLY DID I THINK I COULD DO 100 MOUNTAIN CLIMBERS???

I'm going to pay for that tomorrow. I foresee the liberal use of ibuprofen in my immediate future.

What? Only a hundred? Is that all?

:playful:

Keep in mind that not only am I a mere 2 years in to my martial arts journey, but my hips and knees have over a decade on yours.  Going to be interesting trying to squeeze today's in, but I think I can get it done.  It shouldn't take TOO long, at least.  Now I must go take more ibuprofen.

I missed it last night.  :(  Kept reminding myself all evening and then got distracted and then didn't remember until I was already in bed.  I'm at the Pick your Weapon day.  Since I am picking the Magic Ring it was 3 sets of planks - completely doable if I can just find my exercise mat.  (Planks on hardwoods is a little more hardcore that I'm willing to go atm.)  But I feel like I can add that in tonight's set fairly easily, all thing considered.  It's sparring night, so I need to try to get these done during my little break off the floor this evening.
