Take good care Lou_be_Lou

Belts, it turns out, can be amazing motivation if deployed properly. :)

I'm glad to hear that your cousin is facing his death so well, and I'm glad that he gets to know how loved he is and how much of a difference he's made. I'm sure that there's got to be a lot of emotion tied up in all that. But it sounds like you're doing the very best that you can, and I don't know that anyone could ask you to do any different.

Life... carries on, and there is good in the bad. I'm glad you have the freedom to enjoy it.

Good to hear that you are feeling much better. Clearly you have made good choices in how to spend your time and emotional energy. Nice that you are looking forward to exercise again! You have enough things you have to be responsible about. Exercise can be a time to unwind and work off some tension.

Hugs on dealing with the difficult situation with your cousin.

hey sweet lou,

glad you're hitting all the care for others and the self-care at the same time!

I'm still keeping you and your family in my thoughts. <3

Big thanks to everyone for the support.

I'm still taking things slowly here. Lots of garden planning and gradually getting the space sorted a little (one cubic metre of manure shifted, two more of compost to go......), investing time and effort and care into the garden for future growth feels good.  Its also activity that my cousin would approve of as he loved gardens.  Yep, past tense cause he died last week.  Cancer is such a rotten disease.

I've been cancelling extra activities all over the show - just need some time to hole up at home, play in the garden, contact family and recover a little.

Definitely looking forward to feeling co-ordinated enough to go for a run.

love to you, dearest. I'm so sorry for your loss, and I'm grateful you had a chance to be with him and your family. it doesn't make it less horrible, though. xoxo.

I love how a friend described my current gardening therapy - "horticultural serenity" - Superb.

Gardening is helping a lot, taking time out from everything when I need to is helping.  Definitely slightly more like me - cooked proper dinner tonight for the first time in about 10 days.  PHEW.

Seriously, fuck cancer. :( Hugs

ABSOLUTELY!!

Thanks hugely for the support - especially Kishi, Joedog, Karinajean and Mistr.
