So this is my first time here and I'm starting my first challenge!

 

I know I am a week late, but I figure starting now would be for the best! (I have an awful habit for waiting for defined "starting points" as oppose to jumping right in - so here's to ending that habit!)

 

Main Quest:  Lose 20lbs by mid-June for my best friend's wedding

 

Quest 1: Attend Tae Kwon Do Classes

These are twice a week.  I have just started training again after having ACL surgery in 2013 and it's hard to make time for it, so let's make it a quest!

 

Quest 2: Daily Food Logs

I've tried these before and they have worked well at the beginning, but I stop logging on bad days.  My quest is to log my food everyday with no stealthy rogue tactics. (Extra slice of of cake? Not logging the cake is a lie!)

 

Side Quest: Wake Up an Hour Earlier Each Day

I have created an awful habit of waking up at the last second for work.  I am always on time, but it leaves me feeling rushed, disorganized, and tired.  An extra hour might give me more time to conquer my new quests.

 

Motivation:  I want to look good and feel good - sounds simple enough.  I will edit this as I have more time to write.

Quest 1: No Fast Food


I need to cut out this bad habit so this is now my Quest 1.  I decided that getting my food game in order should be the main goal of this challenge for me.


 


I will continue trying to go to TaeKwonDo, but that will be the focus of another challenge.

Surprisingly well! I have stuck to my quests much better than I could have imagined.

I love your "messenger" quest! I have friends in various states from college and my best friend just moved a few weeks ago to Florida, so I think that quest is something I should attempt soon.

I'm glad to hear it's going well! Just a week and a half left!

 

You should take up the Messenger quest if you have energy to spare! It feels so rewarding to send a nice note to someone. The trick is buying plenty of cards/stamps in advance. Postcards are cheaper to send than envelopes, fyi. ;)
