Ok, so, even though we're between challenges, I want to keep up what I did for my first challenge, and I want to start working toward the changes I want to make for the next one. So, in keeping with my first challenge - walk 3/week, belly dance 2/week, meditate 5/week. New changes (to be updated as they develop): healthier eating - track intake 3/week, and other things to be specified; TV watching limited to 2 hrs/weekday (weekends are freebies)...

 

4/6 - Did my walk. Also made "healthy" eating choices - had to go for fast food for two meals, but skipped the fries both times.

4/7 - did my meditation. It was nice. Dancing was my happiness. I like that. Didn't do so awesome on the healthy eating - ate a huuuge sandwich and even some of the chips.

 

I think I'm going to also limit my TV watching to no later than 10pm 4 out 5 weekdays. I'm planning it that way because some nights I don't get home till like 10pm, but ideally that is my bedtime. I think I am trying to go for a whole life wellness idea for next challenge.

4/8 - Did my walk on the beach with my dad and step-mom. It was awesome. I think I went longer and farther than usual. They are both big into fitness. My dad is kind of like Rambo, tbh. I even asked him to recommend some body weight exercises to complement my walking.

No fitness goals done today. I needed to take time to look at apartments and look up belly dancing classes. Also, another thing for next challenge - I will make sure that I wash dishes once/week. I know that sounds ridiculous, but honestly, I'd rather clean the bathroom than was dishes. I hate doing dishes.

4/11 - Did my walk. Wish I had time to walk in the morning every day. I know, I could get up earlier... But that is just not gonna happen.

 

4/12 - Belly dancing! I hadn't done one all week. It was nice. My search on Friday revealed that belly dancing classes are more expensive than I'd hoped. :( I mean, I can afford some of them, but I was hoping to spend less money. Committing to additional monthly expenses always makes me anxious.

4/14 - Lucky enough to get my walk in, in the morning. Had to work from home because I had someone coming to fix my new furniture, so I got to go out later than usual. Which means I had time for an early walk. Saw the usual birdies - one person seemed to be concerned that the stork was going to eat the baby duckies... I don't think that would happen, but they eat other things duckling size...
