Day 2 completed of the Spartan Warrior Workout and holy crap! I didn't think that lighter weight and bodyweight stuff would be so rough.

 

I need to star doing the workout as a circuit isntead of one exercise then the next and so on. My time in the gym is SUPER long right now (closer to an hour and that is with 30sec-1min breaks between sets)

I am putting in my 2 weeks today. I did the math and if I stay at my job right now, I will be traveling almost 2 thousand miles a month just to and from work. I'll be spending more in gas than when I had a vehicle that was worse on gas and was working 7 days a week. My job right now is also requiring me to wrok 6 says a week, 2 of those days being half days instead of giving me a full day off during the week if I work a half day on Saturday.

I am going to look into a different job up around where I am living now. Possibly a farm job or a convenience store job, not glamourous by any stretch of the imagination, but I am hoping for something physical so that I can continue with my workouts and drop the remainder of this weight.

In other news,  I spoke with the recruiter on Friday, we chatted about my weight, and when he said he still need me lower and didn’t' want to do the taping, I was firm about wanting to tape. I then went on to explain to him about what I have been doing for workouts and how I am not 230 fat, I am 230 muscle and able to move weight, which is what was hindering me from losing the remaining 30lbs that I need to.  I am setting up an appointment with my doctor so that I can get an official measurement of height, weight, and neck/stomach measurement. I am hoping that they meet the criteria for the recruiter.

I have now gone from a 3 bedroom house, down to a single bedroom. I feel stuck and like I have gone backwards. I think what I have the most is that all of this plan hinges on when I am able to get into the military, however I have ZERO time line for when I can get in because it all hinges on measurments/weight. I know I sound like a broken record, this has just been on my mind a lot lately and if I don't talk about it, then I am going to explode.

****DISCLAIMER*** What I am about to ask goes against EVERYTHING that NerdFitness stands for. I understand that. I understand that the answers and options that I get from this question are going to not be real solutions, only short term "fixes". I understand that this is not proper fitness.

There now that that is out of the way, I NEED HELP! I am going to the doctors on Thursday to get height/weight/neck/abdomen measurements taken so that I can skip the weight requirement of the Air Force and sign the papers even though I weight more than I should. I still want my weight to be lower than it is right now especially for that day. Does anyone have any methods to drop 5-10lbs within the next 3 days (I KNOW NOT HEALTHY IDC RIGHT NOW) this is just a quick "fix" for that day. Afterwards (And during this time) I am going to be doing my regular workouts (HIIT Kettlebell) and running.

Well that Was a bust. Went to the doctors to get taped and weighted today. My body fat percentage is 24%.....the Air Force wants me at 16% for the taping to be used. Back to paleo and swimming and running

You're making progress PW.   I mean, serious progress.  The pics you are updating are amazing.    You're actually getting there at a really decent pace too, I mean, certainly fast enough that I am filled with envy at your transformation.    Just keep up the good fight, and it will happen.   I know it sucks to not have it as soon as you'd like to, but you'll get there.   Just keep hanging in there my friend.

Relaxing for the rest of the week/weekend, I need to reset. Reviewing my plan of attack this weekend, purchasing a mini fridge and a metric shit ton of paleo food, cooking and preparing all day Sunday, then hitting it hard next week. I am going to plan out my days and I am GOING to be at 2000 calories or less. It is all a math game. The Less calories I take in, plus the more I burn, equals a higher dedicate and more weight lost.

Just don't over-burn and under-eat PW.    It's not healthy, and it doesn't always work out to just mean faster weight loss.   I know you wanna get to the next stage in your plan as soon as possible, but be safe and smart on it.

I had a dream last night. I don't usually dream, and when I do they are very depressing and just wear on me for days. I have found that the best way for me to get over them is to talk about it. However this dream was about my wife and a subject that she hates to talk about so I can't talk to her. So I am hoping that getting it out on here will help.

In my dream, My wife and I were in the hospital. We were both old and she was in a hospital bed. She was hooked up to machines that were helping her breathe and were keeping her alive. I was holding her hand and leaning over her standing next to the bed. WE had discussed it before and the decision had been made that she didn't want machiens to keep her alive anymore. We were looking into eachothers eyes and we were crying. She looked at me and told me she loved me. I told her I loved her back too. 

I just stood there holding her hand for a while when a nurse came in and said that it was time. My wife look at me and sadi "I'm scared" I responded "I know, it will be okay. Your parents are waiting for you, and you know that I will be with you soon" I kissed her adn then the nurse flipped the buttons powering down the machines. She whispered my name with her last breath.

At that point I woke up and cried like a baby for a while. then layed down and didn't get back to sleep for a long time. Sorry if you read this and are now feeling cruddy. I just had to get it off my chest. Thanks for always listening NF
