I'm feeling more motivated than I have in a while so hopefully I can capitalise on this.

Long term goal is to get pack fit for (hopefully) the Overland Track in Tasmania Aus for Christmas.

Fitness - cycle - although it is now getting darker morning and night I'd like to get back on the bike. I've got a fairly structured after work plan with two gym and one yoga but Tuesday and Friday are commute or partial commute opportunities.

Goal - cycle once mid week and once on the weekend. Length optional.

Fitness - steps. Aim for 7000 steps per day unless a cycle day. I'm happy to average out for a week so I can cheat and get a very long walk in on the weekend.

Fitness - weights. I have two after work gym sessions that I can go to. Go at least once per week, aim for two.

Food - track using MFP. I haven't done this consistently for some time.

Accountability - post at least three times a week.

Hey Matt, great to see you around.

First update:

Cycle - not yet but a 50k ride tomorrow - MS cycle - it's the sixth time I've done this tide but this year it's solo :( none of my family or friends have come onboard.

Steps: I need to consult my moves app but I'm almost on target. I've got a descent walk later today so hopefully drag my average up. Next post I'll include day splits but I'm too lazy now yo go find my phone.

Weights/gym - yes did a Tuesday night session. Sufficiently sore to prove I did something. I'd love to get two sessions in but a bit too socially active this week.

MFP - up to date!

Food choices - I stocked up on real food but haven't managed to have any real dinners yet. I did manage to take lunch each day this week.

Accountability - update done - I'll report back on Sunday.

Update: Monday

Cycle - I rode 60km on Sunday.

Steps:

6,000 wed

3,000 thur

3,000 fri

15,000 sat

1,000 + 4 hours cycling 60km sun

So I did a weekend warrior to get those goals met.

Today 1,000 steps but a good gym session after work

Tracking done.

Food choices not the best. Tomorrow I'm doing 'one day no grains'. It's a new thing I'm trying - just one day

Whoops, I haven't been updating but doing ok.

I've had a few grain free days, now just need to link s few together!

I've adopted a no-excuses gym at work mindset and has a walk at lunch most days.

I haven't hit any of my step or cycle goals since that first week.
