daxonichely
Hi everyone (again), I'm Daxonichely, and this is my second 'first challenge'... I'm sorry last time I didn't make it, but past is gone, so this time will be my last 'first'; I don't swear, I just will. So, I'm 26 now, I moved back to my parents town for a new job. The problem is that I lost all the excercise habits I ever had... Weight: 90kg (about 200lbs)Height: 180cm (almost 6ft tall) Main quest:This time is all about re-building healthy habits. I must score an average over 95% per week of each of my 3 missions (3 healthy habits) Missions:Mission 1: Fuel. This mission is all about eating better. Let's start by cutting sweet bread out of mornings and nights. This means switching breakfast and dinner from "milk and a piece of sugary bread" to something more interesting. I like to cook, so It's time to get on it.Evaluation: On a spreadsheet I will mark each meal, whether I did it or not, I should note it. If I cooked, I should write down what I cooked. Bonus experience points if I try something new!Mission 2: Gear. This mission is all about building the gears. I like runing, and even if I don't love it, I must do strength training... but this is habit building, so I'll focus on discipline.Last time I tried the If you want to know how it works, click [http://danielsalcedo.com.mx/images/arts/blog/Notonalli/6weekch/reloaded/ohmightyspreadsheet.png'>here] 1 Quote Programmer, Electronic circuits designer, Ultimate Frisbee lover, Photography enthusiast Third time "first" 4 week challenge | Follow me on Runkeeper - Facebook - Instagram Link to comment
LiserFrenche
Excellent goals!!! Keep them simple - remember you have to maintain these for 6 weeks. Rate them as that you either did your base goal or you didn't. If you get too far in the weeds, you won't do it. I look forward to hearing how your challenge goes. Give us an update at least a few times a week. Giving up your sugary bread might be really tough. Sugar habits are nasty and really tough to kick. Both Lyona and I are at war with the evil sugar monsters! We'll see what weapons we can send you. ttyl Quote Liser Frenche Level 1 - STR : 1.3 | DEX : 1.5 | STA : 1.5 | CON : 1.5 | WIS : 0 | CHA : 0 Current Challenge /Battle Log I Previous challenges: 1I 2 | 3 Epic Respawn MFP username: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/profile/liserfrenche"Strive for Progress, Not Perfection" Link to comment

I went with Springcrushers as a team name for now. what should we have as our first group mini challenge? maybe one sugary treat a day? It can be anything really. Chaos22
Do you do digital photography or film? I am getting back into it and was thinking once I finish school that I would make it my life goal for a couple of challenges to take at least one roll a week. daxonichely
Week 1 - Day 1 I'm not finished yet. I have to go to bed, and the sleep and offline thing. Tomorrow We'll see if I did it. At least today I didn't take any sugar bread, and that's good, and for the beginner bodyweight workout, I managed to do 2 reps. It's a good start. Let's take a shower, meditate and to sleep Do you do digital photography or film? I am getting back into it and was thinking once I finish school that I would make it my life goal for a couple of challenges to take at least one roll a week. I do Digital photography. I couldn't find an affordable film camera on the market. One roll a week is a very good challenge! Good luck with school 1 Quote Programmer, Electronic circuits designer, Ultimate Frisbee lover, Photography enthusiast Third time "first" 4 week challenge | Follow me on Runkeeper - Facebook - Instagram Link to comment
rgbb
Great challenge! It seems like you put a lot of thought into the goals to make them really meaningful and achievable. I'm focusing on building habits, too, and it's been great for me to start small. During my last challenge, I noticed some cooking-savvy rebels would post recipes they discovered on their thread (or even make a "recipe book" thread, it's somewhere on the site). I'm really terrible at cooking, but one of my goals for this summer is to learn to cook veggie dishes. So, I'd love to see some veggie-inspired things that you cook! 2 Quote High Wood Elf - Level 2STR: 0 | DEX: 0 | STA: 0 | CON: 6.5 | WIS: 7 | CHA: 1 Current Challenge: 2.2 Past Challenges: 2.1 1 A little about me . . . daxonichely
Here we are at day 2! Today was a God one! I got my interval workout done and plus had the chance of buying a new pair of running shoes and a shirt (love the fact that I don't care how my shoes look while they're good for running, so I get the most out of end season sales!)Today we went to grandma's for meat.... You can't say no to granny's desert... So I had ice-cream.... But no other treat for the day, at least.... Sugar bread still down! For dinner I took a tuna sandwich and coffee. I'm a little tired, so I guess I'm going to sleep well See you around! 1 Quote Programmer, Electronic circuits designer, Ultimate Frisbee lover, Photography enthusiast Third time "first" 4 week challenge | Follow me on Runkeeper - Facebook - Instagram Link to comment
daxonichely
Week 1 recap We are going well for the first week (let me be honest, I only did half of it... ). Or almost... the truth is that the Maintenance part of my challenge (Sleeping habits) is giving me a hard time... I must focus more on that.. Besides it, I think I'm going to keep working out only in the morning... So, my week's result was.... (Drum roll please...)73.45% Quote Programmer, Electronic circuits designer, Ultimate Frisbee lover, Photography enthusiast Third time "first" 4 week challenge | Follow me on Runkeeper - Facebook - Instagram Link to comment

daxonichely
Here we are starting day 3 of week 2.I just did my 4th day of working out in a row!!! Yeah! Still my greatest problem is to sleep at time! Yesterday I procrastinated a log while at night and just when I was getting ready for bed, I remembered I had to send a document to my boss (#fail) so I did it, but I ended up sleeping at 4am, so today I struggled waking up at 10... I just finished my BBW of today, but it's past noon and I haven't even done breakfast... Argh!!!! Any way, tomorrow is a big day at work (I do freelancing). Tomorrow we are presenting our client with the project we've been working on for almost 10 months now, so we are excited, anxious, and most of all, we need to finish to get paid... So, tomorrow I might pass my morning running (or perhaps I do it at the gym after the presentation, it all depends of how it goes)For today I'm signing off to focus on the preparations for tomorrow, but I wanted to give a shout to my fellow springrushers (we might as well being rushing...) LiserFrenche and Rgbb for keeping going! It's hard, but it's so worthy!!!! See you around!
