I didn't do any exercise (above work and walking there and from) to allow myself time to recover from the 24 mile hike yesterday. Because I started late, week 3 will be six days. Midterms are always provisional, anyway. Now that I am a Level 1 Marsh-Wiggle, my points will be allocated as follows: Eat in actual meals: 2 CONStay within caloric limit: 2 CON, 2 WIS (because this one has been a learning experience)Avoid sugary stuff: 1 CON (this is such a longstanding quest, it doesn't get many points)Exercise 2X per week: 1 STR, 2 STA The cumulative score thus far is 86%. The scores broken down by quest are: Actual meals: 84%Calories: 79%Sugar: 84%Exercise: 100% (I'm not counting the second workout of week 3 against myself until tomorrow) And based on that, my (rounded) points are: 1 STR | 2 STA | 0 DEX | 4 CON | 2 WIS | 0 CHA A bit of a caveat here: my goals are all to better my normal activity. The problem with cutting things out is that after a while you end up eating too much of something that isn't even very appealing (like raisin bran). Thursday has been much the same as yesterday. Saturday's calorie count was reasonable, and proper meals were eaten, but I ate something sugary (coffee fro-yo, for which no regrets). Wandered around downtown for several hours this evening, and walked halfway home, which I'm counting for a workout (the first of week 4). Quote 'And now leave me in peace for a bit! wockerjabi Posted May 12, 2015 Author Report Share Posted May 12, 2015 Monday I have been good about food, but since on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday my calorie intake was over 3000, I've decided to scrap the idea of eating three meals like a normal person and return to breakfasting on coffee or tea as is my normal habit. Everything I eat before about one PM is just extra calories; It doesn't make me less hungry in the late afternoon and evening. I'm still going to make a point of putting a proper meal together, and not just eating things one by one (which is probably a better definition of binge behavior than the one I started with), and avoiding snacks. Saturday met all three goals, by some miracle, as I've been ignoring this quest (although the discovery that breakfast just does not work for me has been useful). Second half of quest overall score: 73%Eat in actual meals: 79%Stay within caloric limit: 53%Avoid sugar: 84%Exercise twice per week (not counting work/walking everywhere): 80% Main goal of not binge eating for a week: fail (but there were some five and six day stretches) Point allocation: Meals: 1 CONCalories: 1 CONSugar: 1 CONExercise: 1 STR, 1 STA Based on my scores, I've gained 2 constitution points, 1 strength and 1 stamina. Because I didn't achieve the main goal of this quest, I'm going to stay at level 1 for now. I'm quite pleased to have achieved gold (more than 93 miles) in the "walkers" PvP challenge during this quest. I don't normally bother to log my mileage, and was surprised at how fast it added up.
