warm-up

1 x Sun Salutation

Warrior Flow

Added 'warrior I' between 'revolved crescent lunge' and 'warrior III' and while I wobbled a bit, I was able to move from warrior I to warrior III to dancer without dropping my back foot or falling over! Warrior Flow is now: wide-legged forward bend, side lunges, pyramid, triangle, warrior I, warrior II, reverse warrior, extended side angle, reversed warrior, revolved crescent lunge, warrior I, warrior III, dancer

warm-up: Headspace walking meditation (there! I finally found a reason to start listing the contents of my warm up again! It's wasn't the same as always.)

bound angle

double pigeon

cow face

camel

cat-cow

balancing the cat

threading the needle

pigeon

king pigeon

Warrior Flow

I haven't been doing as much bound angle because I felt like it "wasn't doing anything" but I've had to be very, very careful in my wide-legged forward bends and some of the rest of the Warrior Flow because I feel like I'm nearly tearing the muscles in my groin. Back to bound angle, apparently.

Total time: ???

Now that I'm counting yoga separate from core workouts (unless the core workout is all or mostly yoga? I don't know...) I'm going to have to play with the format of my log.

If I haven't mentioned it earlier, nearly all of my Pilates exercises are modified with my knees bent. I can't actually hold my legs straight up in the air. (Yet.) I took an aerobics class in high school that was mostly Winsor Pilates, and nearly fifteen years later, I still hear the tiny volleyball player on the mat next to me loudly announcing that she couldn't believe some people in the class found it difficult to hold their legs up. It's strange how small comments like that just stick sometimes. Anyway... this was all a long-winded way to say I also worked on holding my legs straight up for awhile.

5 x mermaid twist (each side) fell over twice completing the second side, so it was more like 4 and 3/2.

Played with Wild Thing pose and Starfish/Balancing Star (another tough-to-Google pose... ) but started too late in my energy/strength game to do either without falling over.
