Wildross - back to competing

Recommended Posts

These are issues I am trying to sort.

(Put more graphically - the position of the mouse where I am using my computer forces my shoulder up and forward.  This sounds very stupid, but guess which part of my shoulder bothers me?)

That's how my desk set up was.  AND my computer was catty cornered instead of directly in front of me so it was all messed up.

The sleep one was hardest.  I used to be a stomach sleeper.  Training myself to sleep on my side (still not ideal, but I can't do back sleeping) was hard and requires a lot more pillows haha

And that is exactly the type of thing with your shoulder that I was talking about.  I watched a woman at a bank one time wince when she reached for her mouse, which was way up by the monitor when she had to reach up and forward.  I pointed this out to her, that maybe it would help to move it.  "No, I just need to see someone about my shoulder"....ok then.

Yup.  One of my coworkers finally moved her desk set up after complaining of issues for months.  I kept suggesting and she would brush it off.  Then she "sees someone about her shoulder" and they're like, "Yeah, you need to adjust your desk set up."

IFRICKINTOLDYA.

anyway...

Well that's a new one. Guy walked under the end of the bar as I was squatting...that's gonna hurt. I had 205 on the bar and was front squatting. He was turning a bench around and walked right under the end as I went down. Glad I had the safety bars in place as it knocked the bar out of my grip. Never apologized. Then he never used the bench at all.

Is this currently your conditioning exercise of choice?

Pretty much.  And jump rope, jumping jacks.  Need to add burpees.    They don't seem to hurt my foot, knee or hip.  Running and rowing are on the list of things that apparently hurt me...

Oh, as I was doing the first set of the 325# bench, this woman comes over and starts to spot me by helping me rack the bar.  She weighs maybe 140#.  Comes over as in steps into the rack on about the 2nd rep....  I just see hands reach out to grab the bar...   I yelled "No!", then apologized later.   The reps were grindy, but not that bad....

Dude... you annihilated that 445 squat and 355 bench.  And I don't see anything that would discount the 435 dead.  Lock out was maybe a smidge short, but otherwise looked solid.

Looks like he hitched slightly. It was close though, and would have depended on the judge. Looked easy enough.

Darn good lifts though. They looked easy to me!
