.TIFF
So my last challenge had a lot of slip ups but I am moving forward and looking to really make this year a good one for myself. I joined a GAME On! challenge with a buy in of 20 bucks, and I am taking my goals from that and implementing them here. Since that started yesterday this 6 week challenge is going to be more like 8! Train All The Days- 60 minuets of activity 5 days a week, 20 minuets minimum of activity on "off days" 6+ Days per week - A5+ Days per week - BLess than 5 - F Drink All The Water- 3 liters per day, every day. 6+ Days per week - A5+ Days per week - BLess than 5 - F Don't Eat All The Things - eat 4 to 5 small/proper portioned meals per day (1 quest bar/protein shake counts as a meal per day). I will stay under my 1600 calorie limit on heavy workout days, 1400 on light workout days. The game on challenge rules allow 1 meal and 1 day off, so I am sticking with that as the rules. No alcohol except 1 drink allowed with the cheat meal, and then on the free day. 6+ Days per week - A5+ Days per week - BLess than 5 - F Life Quest: Save up for my Cruiser now that I have my motorcycle endorsement!! 3 Quote Link to comment

.TIFF
Yesterday went fairly well but some serious stress happened so I used up my cheat meal for the week already My Insurance company had a clerical error, and I guess if they can't verify your insurance FL decides to revoke all driving and vehicle privileges. This means they suspended my license (and I was driving for 3 days on a suspended license without knowing it) even though I had insurance, and then had to be on the phone for 2 hours trying to get it fixed. The state will take a minimum of 2 days to get it cleared up. So yeah, I am stuck at my house until further notice, and had to figure out things with work. Pizza and a nice beer was had, but it (the pizza) was horrible so at least I didn't overindulge. Besides that I had a recorded 71 minuets of active time, all other meals were compliant, and I met the 3 liter goal of water for the day. 1 Quote Link to comment
Fonzico
Great looking challenge! Sorry about your rough day - that is awful! So frustrating. But hey, at least you only used a cheat meal, not a cheat day on it! Can I ask what you're doing for your "active time"? Just curious! 1 Quote Race: Wood Elf Level 20 Class: Ranger Strength: 45 | Dexterity: 15 | Stamina: 44 | Constitution: 29 | Wisdom: 35 | Charisma: 28 BATTLE LOG EPIC QUEST CHALLENGE Link to comment

But hey, at least you only used a cheat meal, not a cheat day on it!Can I ask what you're doing for your "active time"? Just curious! Thanks! I'm keeping an eye on active time via my fitbit. Today it was a 40 min walk, and a few bolgilities YouTube videos to round out the rest of the time. Tomorrow will be my walk and some heavy weights. I noticed when I said a specific type of workout in prior challenges I felt stuck and got bored, so I'm trying to keep my options as open as possible to stay motivated. 1 Quote Link to comment
.TIFF
Yesterday update - an A for the day! Water, workout, and proper portions completed. It was so difficult to not go back for seconds at dinner since I made risotto, but I stayed strong Quote Link to comment
Noname123
Awesome goals, I need to get my butt moving and posting! And WOO for staying strong Do you portion your meals after you make them? I find it's a lot easier to resist temptation if I box up and fridge my lunch/future portions from the dinners I make. 1 Quote Spaz Ranger BATTLE LOG You can have results or excuses. I find it's a lot easier to resist temptation if I box up and fridge my lunch/future portions from the dinners I make. I really hate most reheated breakfast stuff so I get up early enough to cook myself something. I normally prep cook my lunches (though this week I didn't have that luxury), so it's just the getting dinner in the fridge before I stuff all the things in my mouth, lol. I should start putting the leftovers away before I eat my dinner, that will help with the temptation for sure Quote Link to comment
.TIFF
Still going strong with all my goals! Yesterday: 76 active minuets3 properly portioned meals and 1 quest bar as meal 43 liters of water drank Today is going to be the real test since I am at the office (finally got my license stuff fixed). I had a hearty breakfast of 2 servings cooked with water (320 calories) of my personal oatmeal that has extra protein (made on myoatmeal.com), so that should help out with the cravings for today. 1 Quote Link to comment

.TIFF
Week 0 is under wraps and I have lost 1 lb as of my Monday morning weigh in. Scores: Train all the days: I was active over 60 min 6 days last week, and over 20 yesterday which was my rest day - A Drink all the water: I had 100oz or more water every day, I didn't track on my day off but I think I still managed to since I am not used to drinking water like a mad man. - A Don't eat all the things: - I stuck to the 1 cheat meal and 1 cheat day for the week. All other meals were small/proper portions though I didn't do calorie counting. This week I will be trying my best to implement that as well - B+ As far as my life quest, I have been shopping around for my cruiser and have found a few to take a look at when I get the endorsement on my license Also, I started at a new gym on Saturday and I am still feeling it. I loved the place though, and they have a fit camp starting next Saturday which I think I will be joining up for. This will adjust my meal plan slightly, so I will update that when the time comes. 3 Quote Link to comment

.TIFF
I made it through both gym classes yesterday, all together I burned an extra 882 calories according to my fitbit, and I stayed under 1600 calories eaten from what I could calculate (my wawa turkey panini is a guesstimate). I also drank all the water and then some. I was so worried that I wouldn't be able to walk today, but I am actually moving better than I did yesterday, lol. I didn't get around to my batch baking for my lunches on sunday so I need to figure out something quick. While I don't make bad lunch decisions often, it's far easier to when I am not prepared. Today I will be heading to designer greens for a half turkey portabello sandwich on pita, and a half gorgonzola salad. I could do far worse, but I can't count calories since they are not on the menu. I will be going back to the gym tonight for another set of 2 classes, and I officially signed up for their Jun fit camp. 2 Quote Link to comment
Noname123
When I'm super short on time and I didn't batch cook I head to the grocery store and spend 5 bucks on the premade chicken in the fridge section. That over some mixed lettuce is my super quick, staying in my macros lunch! 2 Quote Spaz Ranger BATTLE LOG You can have results or excuses. Not both Link to comment

.TIFF
Yesterday ended up being my cheat day for the week, I had planned on it only being a cheat meal during lunch (due to favorite food truck being in) but Ben took over making dinner and made an awesomely bad for me Shepards pie. So I had a couple glasses of wine as well and called it a cheat day. Today is set up to make another A with 20oz of water already accounted for, a proper portioned lunch, a Rev & Sweat class tonight, and kebabs and corn on the cob planned for dinner. 2 Quote Link to comment
.TIFF
Thursday, and Saturday were fantastic, Friday and Sunday not so much. I did my minimum activity friday, had my cheat dinner (pizza), and Sunday was lazy. Ben finally unlocked his battle.net account so we played Diablo all afternoon/evening. It was a lot of fun, but I forget that he can sit there and be lazy all day... It's just not a good thing for me. And we didn't do dinner since he never claimed he was hungry, so I made us sandwiches right before bed. Another not good thing for me since my weigh in was this morning and the 1 lb up didn't put me in a grand mood. So over all stats for last week: Train All the Days: B+ because my second lazy day was just extra lazy.Drink All the Water: B - there was one day this week I just didn't get going and couldn't catch up by the time I noticed I had forgotten my water.Don't Eat All the Things: B, while I stayed within my portion limits I slipped on choices of food this week. I didn't get a chance to bike shop, so i'm sorry for the lack of Tiffany on an awesome cruiser pick, but it will happen This week I am just going to keep doing what I have been, and improve where I need to. A big issue with last week was lack of healthy options in the house by the end of it, and I didn't have the cash to go shopping since my renter was really late with her rent check... again. And while I still have no rent check, I did get paid today so meal planning will start and greens will be bought. At least I've gotten some good practice in before the official start to the challenge, good luck everyone! 1 Quote Link to comment
