I do, but I don't know how to make it record without the fitbit? My phone does have a pedometer, but as far as know, you can't import that data into fitbit... :/

The biking part is fine - I use Runtastic road bike to track it, which is linked to MFP, which is linked to fitbit. It's kind of hilarious.

I haven't tried it with the app, but i know online you can log all sorts of activities and I dont see why you wouldnt be able to on the app. you should be able to do it through the menu section under "log"

It should just do it automatically. Mine still tracks my steps, and I haven't had a FitBit in months ...

Yep, and it was automatic. Maybe it's different because I also have the Aria scale? 

 

I think Apple Health does a step count, too.

You were right! If you log a walk with a duration and distance, it will extrapolate the steps for you.

Still losing out on accuracy, but it's much better than no log at all :)

Hey, just dropping by to say hi.  I have a confession - I just don't get Princess Bride.  I think I'm older than you so I missed it as a teenager - or it wasn't a thing in Australia???  Anyway I have tried to watch it but . . .  maybe like my kids not getting Blues Brothers?

 

I have kettlebell envy.  I was going to take it up when you first did and now you're a kettle bell warrior.  Also I don't have any motivation to exercise at home.

 

Great job cycling to work.  In regard to wet weather - I challenge you to prepare yourself for the wet and you'll be surprised just how often the weather looks shocking but you still get to work without getting wet.

Hey Skywalker! Yeah, I was introduced to the Princess Bride at a young age, so maybe that's it.

It's not too late to take up kettlebells! They are addictive once you give them a try :)

So I kind of fizzled out this week - I was feeling super crappy Thursday/Friday, and then gave myself a decently bad sunburn yesterday. And spent all day today being a super aunt. The weekend step challenge was about all that happened.

So excuses aside, I'm excited to start fresh tomorrow! I still think my goals are good, and it's going to be an awesome challenge!

God, I love new challenge day! It's like Christmas, every 7-8 weeks.

So, simply because it is the first day, and there's nothing like starting things off with a bang, I made myself workout tonight, even though my energy levels were decidedly lackluster. (I DID bike commute today!) But I would like to get to the point that I can still properly workout on those days.

I am not quite there yet.

I got through two rounds of my circuit (plus an extra 50 swings, and minus the second set of windmills) The over the head stuff was what really did me in... Letting 6 days pass since my last attempt probably didn't help either.

But anyways. I did it, I sweated like crazy, and my muscles are kitten-level weak. Workout 1 complete.

Way to kick off the challenge like a beast!! I really need to get a couple kettle bells... You're kitten-y muscle strength just means you went full on beast mode!

Yes, that's the trick, isn't it? But that's why the R.O.U.S. is my focus this challenge. Consistency, consistency, consistency!

I did not bike yesterday - the weather was blah, but it had more to do with sleeping in :/

Food choices were solid though! And lots of steps.

I've been going for long walks in the evening to keep my steps up -which is fine, except I know there will be days when I don't have time... Going to try to get more in during the day.

And I biked in today! Still on track for the week :)

Hmmm.. Okay day overall. Kind of pushing it on carbs - definitely had to do with sneaking the hubs' fries when we went out for dinner.

Steps were waaaay low, mostly to do with evening obligations, and it was pouring rain and thundering when we got home :/

At least I biked though! And food was good other than fries.

No biking today, it's still raining. And I'm getting my hair dyed tonight, so I really need to try to get steps in during the day!
