Well, if you are sore for squats at least you worked hard :D And I am glad you spend more time with your love now, it is the best reason to stay out of hiding!

 

Great job on the running with your dog too! The dog must have loved it <3 And if you do it more often it will obviously leave you less winded. Anyway, I won't follow your example, it is faaaaar too hot these days O_o

-Taking care of myself-

Sleep schedule is still wacky, but I did not read in bed. Talked and cuddled quite a bit instead, so the no-reading in the evening has been going well. Mornings are a bit harder and i'm still checking Facebook or things like that.. but at least that's less likely to suck me away for another 3 hours. (2xp earned)

Veggies have also been eaten. Wednesday was salad for lunch and tomato soup and asparagus with a steak sandwich (it was delicious, my mouth is watering just thinking about it). Thursday was again asparagus for lunch (yes, they were on sale and I LOVE them) and pumpkin for dinner. Dunno why I'm typing this, honestly who cares? (2xp earned)

 

 

I care! Because it means you're taking care of yourself and eating tasty things and those are great things. Also asparagus = YUM. :D

(And if you had bad things to say then I'd still care, so don't stop posting)

I, too, suffer from Analysis Paralysis.  It's tough to just let go and make a choice.  Unfortunately, I think a lot of "adulting" doesn't work well when you're too indecisive and wishy washy.

 

 

Great job!  One of the things that has helped me the most with cleaning and being productive is to break things down into small, manageable tasks, rather than letting the full picture overwhelm me.  You did something, and you can cross it off of the list.  You should be happy!

Wishy washy :) Indeed! Have to credit my bf though, he started it.. things are easier when HE breaks things down into something small and manageable ;)

It really is. The dog did love it, but she was kinda confused by my erratic pacing, haha.

Of course we care! Ur doing good and u made me realize that i do the same thing with books and movies(escaping reality) keep it up and we r here to cheer you on :)

That's a good thing about NF though right, let's us turn our own lives into something a bit more story-ish.

HotS is pretty good, so far. Definitely more neck-and-neck I'd say than a lot of League of Legends games, as it is faster to turn around a game than you'd think. The games are usually shorter and you actually can't talk to the opposing team so there is a lot less back-and-forth between the two teams which is a blessing or a curse, depending on your outlook. ;) The champions are fun if you've played other Blizzard games at all. There are different objectives depending on what map you are on, but it's really just another MOBA, so nothing too radical is happening.

Yay dog runs. :D

 

HotS is pretty good, so far. Definitely more neck-and-neck I'd say than a lot of League of Legends games, as it is faster to turn around a game than you'd think. Sounds pretty good! I'll keep it in mind for when I can risk being sucked into a game. 

To be honest, my outlook 100% depends on my mood, sometimes I can really enjoy ripping into anyone with full blown sarcasm.

It's an understandable mistake though, I have been working on lots of GMB things. But I haven't gotten FF because we've got our own program for flexibility, which I reckon is pretty similar anyway. I'm working on my bridge and pancake currently :)

Week 0 Fri/Sat/Sun short summary
It was a busy weekend! Besides gym/work we also had a bqq, a family day and a couple great training sessions. Sunday was again kettlebells, among other things I managed a 4 minute snatch set with the 16kg kettlebell, which was a relief. Friday I had a great lifting session and even somehow managed to set a shiny new PR with a 60kg clean & jerk (yes that's on a barbell) :) Friday evening before the storm hit I also went on another run with the dog. 

 

Lowlights; due to unforeseen circumstance I missed a second veggie serving on friday and I did not take a turn walking the dog on saturday.. I also read in bed last night with a hefty case of the blues. New challenge week can be my mood lifter o/

 

Total XP earned in week 0; 

With three misses I managed to earn 27 of the possible 30xp. I'm going to allow myself to make up those 3 in the next week if I can.

Challenge update for week 1:

Some of the things from week 0 are crossed off the list, but I will be continuing the daily things with a few minor adjustments (in red). The new xp earning chart looks like this; 

 

-Taking care of myself-

week 0: no reading and no phone in bed (1xp a day), two servings of veggies a day (1xp a day)

week 1: lose 1,5kg this week (4xp) 

 

-Moving and training-

week 0: walk the dog at least once a day, except saturday (1xp a day), 3 kettlebell training sessions (2xp each)

week 1: go running at least once (3xp) and take the bike to work on saturday (3xp)

 

-Habits and routines-

week 0: build a to-do list system that works for me (3xp)

week 1: do the things on my cleaning list (1xp a day) and pick 2 to-do's to focus on every day (2xp a day)

 

-Improving my environement-

week 0: make a very basic weekly chores list (1xp), clean out my bedside cabinet (2xp)

week 1: clean the door frames (my bf just painted the doors, this'll finish the job) (2xp)

Awesome challenge so far! I'm 'back' (I hope, haha) over at the warriors at the moment. Pffff motivation :(

It's only a sort of cheat! I am in Slytherin now you know ;)

Week 1, Monday
Normally I hate mondays, but challenge start mondays are not so bad.

-Taking care of myself-
Got my veggies, lunch was a mixed plate with lots of spinach, avocado, mushrooms and asparagus (yes, again). Dinner was green beans, which weren't great but I ate them and that's the point. I think this was the first day in weeks that I did not have any chocolate, which wasn't at all easy! Unfortunately I had a momentary lapse of judgement and did read in bed. Now I am tired. (1xp earned)

Walked the dog, was only planning on a short trip but it turned into a long one :) (1xp earned)

-Habits and routines-
Did my cleaning list, nice shiny floor and kitchen now! Also did my to-do list. I kept it very easy, building momentum and such. (3xp earned)

-Improving my environement-
Nothing challenge related, but I actually did a little gardening, which was nice.

XP total: 32 (27 + 5)

Which means I hit lvl1 in my personal lvling up chart, woot!

Great job with the PRs and yummy food!  

 

How is the cleaning list working out for you? I've found that when I actually write those chores on a list, it makes me so much more focused and motivated to get them done.
