This is part 2 of my Main Quest to get ready for my wedding this September. I've adjusted some of my goals and quests based on the first few weeks of my quest. Main Quest: Fusion- Be ready for our big day! [Earn at least 1,000 XP before September, 2015]Mission #1: Kinetic EnergyWe took up swing dancing a little over a year ago and I love it! But, there's always been a gap between how good she is (very) and myself (not great). We go to lessons 1-3 times per week, but I need more than that to improve. - I want to make it a point to practice as much as I can every week. I've started logging my solo practice sessions and my fiance and I try to go to gym to practice a few times a week. The proof of how much practice I'm getting comes out when we go to lessons and dances. I want to get better, way better. XP per Practice Session:+5 XP+10 XP if practicing at the gym with partner **Bonus points**+5 XP for at least 1 hour of practice with video+2 XP for each new partner danced with at a lesson/dance! PENALTY:-25 XP for every week with no practice!! Mission #2: Source MaterialWe also decided to go vegan from now until the wedding (there's going to be meat and dairy on the menu). I've been logging my food on Myfitnesspal for a while and I need a lot more protein than what I've been getting.- I want to start hitting my goal of at least 100 grams of vegan protein per day. +5 XP for each day of 100+ grams of protein PENALTY:-25 XP for every week I don't get enough protein!Mission #3: BiomassI want to actually be able to carry my bride on our wedding day! I want to record each workout and track my progress as I go as well, no more going just to go. I want to start working out with a purpose!! - I am going to workout at least 3 times a week and start logging my progress. [Any suggestions on websites/apps?]+5 XP for each logged workout session per week PENALTY:-25 XP for every week where no progress is made (no workouts = no progress!) ---Side Quests---Side Quest: Memory Map- I want to learn my way around. I drive every chance I can to familiarize myself with the streets and get used to driving in traffic. I'm also trying to learn the streets and highways better. I want to drive more often without needing my GPS. (Work, Home, and other familiar locations do not count!)+5 XP for each trip without the use of a GPSSide Quest: Facial Recognition - When we go to dance lessons, I want to remember the names of at least 3 people and say hi next time we see them. +5 XP for each name rememberedSide Quest: Background Noise- I love listening to stand-up comedy and watching TV, but this gets very distracting and I don't get much done. I want to listen to more swing and jazz music instead of distractions. I've also gotten into the bad habit of wasting time on a lot of websites while I'm at work. I want to start being more productive and not get distracted by all these things.+5 XP for each day with no distractions (no comedy, no TV, no surfing) Wish me luck everyone!
